Sarge and Sirius B... Since you have twisted his post and mine, I absolutely have an issue with you lying and then repeating a lie. Capitalize on this good fortune, one word can bring you round ... changes. |

Symbols like the swastika naturally evoke negative emotions in many people, and if I saw a flag flying in my neighborhood with that image on it, I'd wonder how to handle it, but luckily this is an internet forum, and you have an address to contact if you want to discuss your concerns in more depth: seti_moderators@ssl.berkeley.edu I don't think anybody here is truly advocating hostility toward anyone. I just feel like people are constantly trying to one-up each other by posting things they know will get under the other person's skin. How about opening a new a thread for talking about iconic political images? The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

A spokesman for the county council said: "Plans for the County Hall building were drawn up from 1908 and our records show that the architect was ordered to finalise the plans in October 1926. There are also many buildings in the US bearing that symbol & predated the Nazis. So Dr Clyde if you hate that symbol so much, write to your congressman & get them demolished :-) |

Nothing was twisted by me regarding your dismissal of a Modern Day Symbol of Hate and Mass Murder. And your dismissal of the Pain of the Nazi Victims and their loved ones. Everything was twisted by you. Because someone on a message board did not write a dissertation for you (far from providing the solutions you once pushed Michel to provide) that covers every single aspect of a topic, you call it is a dismissal. THAT is DISGUSTING. You have ZERO evidence that I've dismissed the Holocaust and its horrors. You need a clear statement of something that should be evident??? NAZIs SUCK! The Holocaust was HORRIBLE! Is that clear enough for you? It wasn't evident to you? WOW! I will not tolerate my words being twisted because every single post I write has not addressed every single issue pertaining to a topic. <--- Official Notice. I will not tolerate my words being twisted because every single post I write has not addressed every single issue pertaining to a topic. <--- Official Notice. While you were contributing to the non-intellectual discussion last Friday, I made my concerns about certain related issues known to the mods. I'm sorry not sorry that you believe everything about a topic must be discussed all at once AND must be done within your view. While you were contributing to the non-intellectual discussion last Friday, I made my concerns about certain related issues known to the mods. I'm sorry not sorry that you believe everything about a topic must be discussed all at once AND must be done within your view. I took my concerns about one of the other posters in that non-intellectual discussion to the mods. To name that poster here, I'm sure, would be called a flame. Frankly, I'm surprised that poster wasn't offered a vacation. Original post? Already addressed. https://setiathome.berkeley.edu/forum_thread.php?id=80480&postid=1850418 NAZIs SUCK! The Holocaust was HORRIBLE! Is that clear enough for you? It wasn't evident to you? WOW! I won't go round and round on this with you. I'm not going to search my post history here or other places I discuss things with people for further evidence. But you will never ever find me in support of that regime. The only responses to this. Was your and other's Historical References. Never the Necessary, Moral, and Ethical attack against using this Evil Symbol as an Avatar. I think 12,000 years of historical use outweighs the paltry 80 years or so it was evil. |

I won't go round and round on this with you. Is there someone that has or is currently using the swastika as an avatar? Keep in mind, I have some people on ignore. Not only do I not see their posts, I do not see their avatars nor their signatures. Is there someone using a screen name and picture (not a swastika) of the same person as in the screen name that can be viewed as offensive? Yes. Have I argued against that poster, publicly and privately? Yes, some. Have I argued against the person's avatar? No. I have, however, raised the issue, more generally, in another thread. However, you have just confirmed that you were never a history teacher or if so, a very poor one. You have yet to show where on this forum, I agree with the Nazis. In fact, from what can be seen from most of your posts, you seem to hold their ideals close to your chest. |

We disagree what should be done after The Far Superior People consign them to the Toilet of History You were asked to provide a clear explanation for that statement. None was forthcoming, instead we get you ranting over a symbol. THAT statement was the heart of the Nazi Party. So answer the question: Are you a Nazi or do you extol their ideals? |

Those that use or display "evil" images/symbols are easily identified. It's the closet ones that are harder to identify. Using your very own posting style, by making that statement, you are saying that you are a Nazi & using the rant over an image to deflect what you have said. True or False? Can we get an answer from you without having it answered by another question? |

Maybe that is the reason why he does not create his own threads & just infect others. The problem with Clyde & others of his ilk, they dislike people having a better understanding than themselves. When caught on the back foot, deflect onto another issue in the hope that their "error" does not get compounded. Unfortunately for Clyde, just like his "horde" rant, not letting go of this. He either acknowledges what he stated is a Nazi ideal or offer a clear explanation for it's use. If not, as "History" shows, the Nazi's revelled in their "far superior" attitude. |

Suggest you re-read all the posts relevant. It was not I that brought up the Nazi symbol but Clyde himself. Are you also agreeing that he holds Nazi ideals close to his heart? |
