Well at least you don't have engines
like these on your Saturn Gordon,
like these 5(1 is out of frame)...

Von Braun is pictured.

My Saturn has that intermittent engine light issue. I've been told it's a bad oxygen sensor.

They typically don't cost much to replace.

Now the Escort zx2 sport hot coupe has been having some problems while running, such as?

Mine is different than most zx2 cars, why? An extra 30hp.

Hesitation or jerking while under 3000rpm, though the higher the revs goes, the less this happens, I may get some injector cleaner soon, yes the car could use a tune up $100 is what I was quoted, I do have 4 new sparkplugs for the tuneup, in Dec I should have enough to get an oil change done, that should cost Me $57.32 then, I hope, since only $20 is for the oil change, the rest is for 5 quarts of Royal Purple 5w30 synthetic motor oil(it's good for high mileage engines like Mine), but then I have a Fram oil filter bought already.

I don't know when I will be able to afford a tune up, since it will take money away from paying down the 3 credit cards that will start in Jan 2017, maybe in Sept or Oct of 2017 I can do the tune up.

Here's some pics of the Park as I'd mentioned earlier:
Taking these 5 pics was done outside the field of view of the parks 4 cameras.
Other pics are to follow. And yes the park has no barbed wire, though the mounts for it is there, weird.
All these on the 1st row are empties, most of which need refurbishing, some of which were condemned by the park as too expensive to refurb(DEMO), though the word "DEMO" is now covered up.

This unit is one of the Demos, the one to the left of the car.

I tried calling the Adelanto Building and Safety department, turns out they are closed on Fridays, so I get to wait until Monday or Tuesday.

How well does it idle?
Poor idle & poor running at low revs can often be due to air leaks in the inlet manifold after the MAP/Air Flow sensor.
If the fuel pump speed is variable then poor fuel pump function at lower pump speeds can also give similar poor behaviour.

Before I had the two hoses replaced that go to the mass air sensor, I was having
this problem, just not as much, the hoses were from some unknown donor car, the
ends are not frayed like the old hoses were, since the right hoses, are not made
anymore, by anyone, it's a 17 year old 2yr only car(1998-1999), soon to be 18...

Yeah that could be, I've had fuel pump problems, the last was on a 1987 Mustang GT,
hopefully that is replaceable, I can only ask.

How well does the 2.0L engine idle? Pretty good.

Wild Arse Guess-
Idle usually involves some sort of bypass, and it's OK. So an air leak is less likely, but still possible. It's OK at mid & high revs, but rough at lower revs- air fuel mixture possibly not right, and that's most likely due to air getting in that the MAP/Air Sensor isn't aware of.
If it revs OK when pulling under load (doesn't struggle to get to the limiter/red line) & fuel economy is no worse than normal then it's either a very slight air leak, or the Throttle Position sensor is dodgy in the lower throttle opening position.

Paid a lot for the new throttle body, got a block away and the light came on again. Have to take it back and see what else is up.

Do you know you can buy your own obd2 Scanner Tool at WalMart for about $15. Save the fee and trip.
I bought mine over 15 years ago (cost a lot more back then) and it's saved me thousands.

My friend Tim has one, plugs into the computer, right under the steering wheel, readout is on His phone, like this one HERE at Amazon, and it's $79.95, but it can be left plugged in w/o draining the battery, though here that is not a good idea. But then in His spare time, He likes to work on cars.

I borrowed one at work and cleared the codes. The engine stopped running. I started it, but it kept dying until I shut the key completely off and opened the door. Then it started again, but the light came back on. Yesterday, they replaced the throttle body thingy. I didn't even get a block away before it came back on. I went back today and they replaced the oil pressure sensor. It has stayed off so far. I have thought of buying one, but knowing what the problem is does me no good if I don't have the ability to fix it myself.

Fixing a car I can't do, I know how a car works, but last time I tried replacing the plugs, they wouldn't budge, I'd still need to be able to gap them properly in any case.

One day I might get a newer car, electric maybe, though right now I wait, furnace first, then oil change and install 2 tires.

200 mile EV's, level 3 charging at 480v in about 30 mins, level 2 takes a lot longer, cooling the battery with liquid cooling like Ford does, seems better than what Nissan is doing in hot climates, like Texas, Arizona, and California. Some of this comes from Here.

I grew up a SoCal wrench head. Built my first engine (a 427 hemi) at the age of 14. Raced it in my back yard. I had a big back yard.

I built a 10 speed bicycle when I was 15, rode that until I was 19, during bad weather I'd ride the bus. The area has light rail now, I missed that by 2 years.
