The weather here is South London has been very "changeable" over the last few weeks, extremely hot, heavy rain, hot, rain.. rinse and repeat.

Just saw the sunset from my kitchen window.

Not sure if that is good or bad for tomorrow.

Thanks Monday.

Think that is hot Monday?

The current temp @ 9:38am PDT is 97.7F(98.1F @ 9:51am), high of 112F is predicted, the low was 80.2F this morning near dawn, the high yesterday you already know.

The temp in here is 78F, but I had to cut back on Seti(midnight to 6am now), the a/c is set at 70F, not like the 10,000 Btu a/c will get there, but it's the only real way to cool this place anymore, thanks to climate change, next year I know I'm going to have to replace 1 window that is an old single pane aluminum framed window with a dual pane vinyl window(in the kitchen behind My PC), if I can save up an additional $317 or more, I can maybe afford 2 windows(the master bathroom needs a new window, that's the 2nd window), that will leave only 1 more window to do(that window is in a small bedroom, that used to cost $370 back around 2008, but that window is one of the bigger windows here). The Liheap program will pay for the 1st window, I just have to pay for the second. But before then in October or November I need to get the natural gas furnace for the mobile home repaired, that will possibly cost about $120 or so.

Temperature trends are slowly falling this week, to the low 80s or maybe even (depending on who you listen to) upper 70s for the weekend. A cold front tomorrow will bring scattered rain and storms through Friday and possibly into Saturday.

Also just saw a piece on the news about how denser farm planting is causing a change in the local climate. Corn used to be planted 40" apart; that was reduced to 30" and now 22". Result: more plants per acre sucking moisture out of the ground and transpiring it into the air, thus higher humidity and consequent discomfort and severe weather. Yield has also increased from 18 to 40 bushels per acre, which is good, but we need to be aware of the consequences of that increase.

Bernie: welcome to the last couple of weeks here.

It's cloudy and thundering here. I guess it might rain.

There are thick clouds outside here now, and it was 112F outside, I had to put
the PC to sleep to keep the temp from climbing past 85F. Temp outside is now
109F, temp inside is now 86F now that the PC is not asleep anymore. I wish I had
enough for a window and a GTX1060 card right now, ugh.

Rather nasty last night/way to early in the morning.

I seem to have had a cell parked over the trailer for about an hour.

Lost one section of shingle, I think.

This area according to a neighbor had a small tornado come thru on Friedday, it seems to have lifted a few shingles, they said it headed towards the park, Me? I have a metal roof, no shingles.

We started of here at -2C (felt like -5C) with fog so thick that vision was down to 10m.

But after bringing an old workstation of mine back to life and pressing 2 old GTX 560's back into action I didn't require any extra heating here this morning (the place didn't drop below 20C, currently 21C). :-)

It's now 11C (feels like 9C) and beautifully clear outside while the ceiling fan downstairs in the shed has that area at 19C.

We're expecting a max of 16C today.

Cheers.

Temp 86F inside, outside? 101.5F(feels like 99F), yesterday the temp was 114.1F(3rd day at or above 114F), I can feel the heat thru the floor here, it should be insulated, but I bought the place used, and I could never find anyone to reinsulate the bottom of My mobile home.

It did hit 16C here, but the windchill had it feeling like 10C with 20% humidity.

Cheers.
