chromecast Firetv or a Chinese google box will solve that

I have 2 Fire TV Sticks, two Amazon Fire Tablets, one Android phone hook up, and one Echo. The Echo is really cool.

Steve

@SciManStev

i got an echo in every room and wemo light switches everywhere i even used a lightswitch to control my hot water heater using IFTTT

The wiering is not that clean but it works i might clean it up one day

Rest of the house is run by philipps hue lights and it's base station ...most of it is controlled by IFTTT

My nest thermostat is run by IFTTT as well and geofencing so as soon as i get close to home the ac comes on and if i leave it turns it to 78 (gotta have at least some cooling with all the machines here)

Here is my little storage server 24x10TB hgst enterprise drives and transcode server which runs plex and a boatload of 10tb hgst enterprise drives that went in another storage server and lots of cables haha

That dell R900 server has 2x2tb main drives in raid 24 cores 256gb ram

This here is my routing and switching rack most of it is 10 gig fiber and some of it is 1 gig ethernet ....

Top piece is a nice Mikrotik cloud core router 32 cores 16gb ram
below are some ubiquiti poe switches and a ubiquiti edgerouter that is not used atm .

Yeah Yeah cables everywhere i know one of these days i get time to clean it up
I came down with a bad case of i don't give a crap

So far I need an electrician to come out here and fix this place, 4 new 15A breakers(2 are partly broken) and 4 outlets, move one 20A outlet to the living room, plus the breaker box either needs new parts or needs replacing to make it water tight when it rains here.

Although I'd love to have solar, multiple companies have found out that while I own the mobile home(outright), I rent the land and they've said 'sorry We can't help you, goodbye', click...

I could also use two new thresholds(for My exterior doors), 3 new custom sized vinyl clad dual pane windows(better than any dual pane aluminum framed window any day), paint on the outside of the mobile home(light grey w/dark grey trim) and a new snow coat on the metal roof(extend snow coat to edge of metal carport roof, should stop the rain leaking down the outside of the house), put in a new window in the main bedroom, plus an 8,000 BTU ac unit in the window(energy star type), and that's just the outside.

On the inside, there is the electrical,I could use a plumber to fix in and under the kitchen sink, new bathroom counter tops(2 bathrooms) with sinks, 3 new faucets(2 bathroom & 1 kitchen), 2 new extended toilets, new flooring from the front bathroom to the rear bathroom, fix the floor in the washing machine(hallway) and in the main bedroom, fix the gas central heater, fix a wall in the main bedroom(that on windy days can pop the closet door open, weird), fix a few old dents in the wall that came with the place, paint the inside walls and ceiling, replace 5 interior door knobs and 1 pair exterior locking door locks with Master Lock Antique brass like the front door is.

That about covers this live in fixer...

Well you can replace the breakers yourself they just pull out and you can put new ones in

for the 20A i'd rather you get an electrician

for the breaker box put a cover around it

now you gotta be realistic here and think what you actually need
the windows unless broken can wait
the thresholds can wait unless water is pouring in
for the paint go to a lowes or homedepot and get the cheapest paint you can find that should work for a couple years

for the snowcoat i suggest to wait with that blue tarp is cheap and will hold you over until you can get the coat done

what is wrong with the bedroom window?

8000 btu are not gonna cut it really you should look for a mobile ac unit with at least 15000 btu which can be had dirt cheap on ebay or look for a closeout sale at lowes or home depot you can siometimes snipe one of those mobile ac's for a couple hundred bucks and if you haggle even less

for the plumbing part in the kitchen ...you can pretty much do that yourself for free get some cocking and whatever parts you need take a couple hours to work on it and no labor cost

faucets are easy to install all you need is a wrench and plyers

toilets are swapped out in less then 10 minutes just make sure you get the wax gasket
you can get those toilets on closeouts or again ebay or oulet websites

i assume the wood floor rotted through and i know it sounds intimidating but it can be done by you and a little elbow grease (do a small part every day )

for the gas heater i would find out whats wrong with it and then decide if you can do it yourself ...if it is leaky and you smell gas let someone do it ...if it is just the pilot light thats not working you can fix that for 20-30$ yourself (again need to know what is wrong with it)

the wall should be easy to fix in just a couple hours if you slow but i assume the wall is either drywall with aluminum frame or plywood on a frame (looks intimidating but with a little time easily fixable)

for the door knobs ...are they really necessary or are they broke ?
you can clean old brass that looks like crap up with toothpaste and vinegar (looks like almost new )

wall in the bedroom i think has rotted out support in the walls and moves which will pop the door when it is moving (again easily fixable by yourself with no penny in labor

dents in the wall are a quick and easy fix (tell me what the walls are made of and i can tell you what to get to cover or repair the holes

i be happy to give you tips and hints on how to acomplish some of the stuff ....you a little far away for me to just pop by

Lets see being disabled means I'd have to have someone do the work, if I eat or drink something cold, it becomes hard to breathe since I have asthma, it's also why I couldn't keep up on a hike in the mountains when I was 15, 40 years ago, I kept on falling behind, where I lived at was on level ground at low altitude.

When it rains here, water will come in and small moths come in thru the front door when it is not raining.

The breaker I have no idea about what interface it is.

The 3 windows, 1 is in a bathroom(Freezing cold in the Winter and Blazing hot in the Summer here), 1 is in the kitchen and the other(biggest of the 3) is in a bedroom.

The door knobs, some don't fit well, another is an exterior door knob leading to the main bathroom and the 2 exterior locks are old, all use plastic sleeves subject to breakage, I almost couldn't open a door to a bedroom that did break, I'm lucky I was in a hallway or I could have died there with no way out...

The gas heater I suspect has a bad circuit that won't turn on the blower, which was replaced about 1 year back, places I contacted all want to replace it, lowest cost $1,812.11 in writing. Oh and it's not a gas leak, the plumbing here is very sound, it was replaced before I bought the place.

The studs here are all wood, not metal, thankfully no termites live in the desert in this area, the mobile home is a 1987 Fleetwood Westfield, Fleetwood went bankrupt in 2009, 3 years after I bought the place.

I'm no carpenter, on My best day I can't pound a nail to save My life, though at one time I could shoot an M16 rifle better than almost anyone on Seti, I was a sharpshooter 37 years back, if it moved or not and was within 600m(660 yards) I'd nail it, though I could shoot to about 1200m(1320 yards), not bad for a city dude who needed glasses and yes I have the dog tags and the medal to prove it.

The walls are thin drywall.

I said 8000 btu for good reason, there is a 10,000 btu energy star a/c unit in the living room already.

The floors in this place and in most mobile homes are made of particle board, My late Brother once fell thru the floor of one that He used to own.

Another thing, when I was 11yrs old, I was about 4'6" tall, when I was 12yrs old I'd grown to 5'10.5" tall, ever since then My knees have hurt if I get down on them, and being 414 lbs does not help, nor do lower back problems, among other things, I have had OA since I was at least 40yrs old.

Some decent sized pics from when I was offline, one said I needed to buy some kitty food, I bought 4 bags, should last a while.

More pics are to come, of 4 Jeans(2 black and 2 blue), 3 shirts(one around June 5th, Blue shirt is on back order, 2 others are Florescent Green and a Yellow/Orange shirt(these 2 may arrive sooner than later), I like some color), plus 6 other articles of clothing(which I'm not sure I'll post pics of, even though all clothes are new).

Well My car now has new front struts on My current old tires(a friend did that for Me today), that I'd bought over 1 month back(the struts, not the tires, the tires I've had for over 1 year), maybe in July or August I can put the new rear struts on, all 4 were bought as a set of 4 from Amazon, I even got an alignment too.

Nope, He used a bubble torpedo level of mine, plus chalk, seems ok, no pulling to the left or to the right, afterward I drove down to the Post Office today to get My mail, He only took about 1.5 hours to do the front, the rear is next, in July, since the cost was $100 for each end and I'm broke again.

I'm hoping in June that I will have $170.72 for two pairs of New door weatherstripping(1 driver and 1 passenger side door), for My '99 Escort zx2 sport Hot Coupe(a 2yr only model), the stuff is hard to find.

Then there is the drivers seat, Mine is nearly totally busted now, and is now twisted to the left and I have to hold on to the steering wheel while accelerating, I am watching a replacement, but it's only in Black, My interior is Tan, so I will have to take the car to an upholstery shop in Barstow to change the black seat to tan, using the seat covers off the broken tan seat. Cost for the seat about $175.00 which includes shipping($135.00, $40.00 for the seat), upholstery might cost $100.00, I'm doing this on Memory on the upholstery.

I've still yet to replace My front tires(w/Nankang 185/60*15 TOURSPORT XR611 60R R15 88H tires, the rear already has these tires), I have a 3rd tire on the way(I got that with Paypal credit for $41.00 total w/FREE shipping), the 4th tire will be either in June or July, the 3rd I'll store in the front bedroom until I have money to mount and balance both for $36.00.

1 black($36.88sale/$60.00) and 2 blue($29.88sale/$70.00) in the box(Full Blue Jeans), I'm wearing the other black pair, they fit.

The 3rd Tire, cost $41.00 total from Discount Tire Warehouse on ebay, it had FREE shipping, got that thru paypal credit, one more and the car will have the same tire in all 4 corners and with a heavier weight rating too.

Don't worry about the labels, I'd zoomed in on this pic with My smart phone, they're not readable, and I tried to do just that.

I got 2 of 3 shirts in today from KingSize, one in Golden Sun,
and one in Electric Green, one in Pacific Blue is back ordered
until June 5th or so. Plus a FREE catalog and some white cotton stuff.
These 3 shirts will go well with My Black Jeans, I just need a few more
shirts, $13.99 each, I noticed at least one of My old shirts is coming
apart at the collar.

Thanks for the link Mark, the Jeans were on sale, normally they'd be $60.00 and $70.00 respectively. The last pair of Black Jeans felt cheap and thin, these feel different. Davis Big and Tall is in Louisiana.

We ordered some Levi's on-line for Ol'Pookers a few months ago and I was shocked at how thin the material was when the jeans arrived. I have certain expectations about denim and these jeans did not meet my expectations. We kept the jeans because Eric needed them, but next time I am going to buy jeans in person and check out the material before we purchase things.

I suspect that ol' pookers is not as concerned with his jeans's fit quite as much as you are, ol' handroller.

Ok I put the 'Golden Sun' t-shirt on(it has a pocket), it fits, like a tent, maybe I should have bought 1 as a 5XL as an experiment, instead of a 6XL, but it does fit and it's BRIGHT, looks good with Black Jeans.
