Of course, if we get the money together for Seti, so they can buy one or two of these, they don't have any need for us anymore as they can easily run all their own work. ;-)

I'm kind of not impressed with 85 TFLOPS of SP for $129K.

I think we could do better for much less money. Like Dirk's quad Fury X with 34 TFLOPS of SP.

What that server has that IS impressive is the 42 TFLOPS of DP. Which is where most of the business class needs to to be these days.

Sadly, I am pretty sure it was not ordered for the Space Sciences group.
