i am having a problem the pc is win xp 32 bit i have tryed the newest version of bonic, it wont install, i click the install and nothing happens, it will let me instal a very old version, what can i do |

i didnt install my virus scan, yet so i m lost as to how and fix it. |

what i have done is copy and paste it from another pc, but wont let me find the location to use the opamizer |

If so can you access the SETI home page? If you can, try downloading the setup from there and then try running it on your new PC. Hopefully that might work for you. |

You cannot just copy BOINC from one PC to another, you have to INSTALL it - go to the download page, http://boinc.berkeley.edu/download.php find the correct operating system version from the list (it may already be selected if you are on your new PC), then download the BOINC installer.
