But after reading what others have said about him, he seems to have been very gracious and much loved.

Unhappily another one, Actor Frank Finlay dies aged 89
Probably will not be known to our cousins across the pond, but did get Oscar nomination.
A star of the Three Musketeer films, Finlay earned an Oscar nomination for his role as Iago opposite Laurence Olivier in Othello in 1965
