The server www.seti-germany.de keeps putting up messages that it wants a login and a password. Anyone else getting these messages? Nope. Is it happening on any particular forum or topic? EDIT- just went to their site, then the forums and then the Hardware- Probleme, Tuning, Benchmark usw and no issues. NB- I do the Net with a Hosts file, so I tend not to see a lot of things Advertising related. Grant Darwin NT |

The server www.seti-germany.de keeps putting up messages that it wants a login and a password. Anyone else getting these messages? No, but then I run Adblock plus which can be used to block everything on the page except the posts! It seem that it may well be in Bill Walkers signature. If I take off adblock and click on his sig it takes me to a login page for seti-germany and asks for a password. |

SETI-Germany was recently hacked and have had to postpone their Pentathlon http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/forum_thread.php?id=79379 So I suspect they have increased security. I have sent a PM to Bill Walker to remove the link form his sig, but there may be others. |

The kitties are about 300 short of a full cache for the crunchers here.... And the outrages have been lasting on the longish side lately. Might be some empty GPU bowls here before the outage is over as well. Meowsigh. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

GPU still dry. Only VLARs from the Russian billionaires project available. No non VLARs from Arecibo. I suspected it would go this way, when the Russian billionaire got involved (or should I say "bought" the project.) Yup, and all my builds have direct IP-connect to Kremlin to notify about EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE. You all pwned... ;) |

Well when you decide your murderous government doesn't deserve your allegiance, I will ask my mother to set aside a room for you. To change one evil for another? Well, I would like to travel so far, but definitely not by such reason :D My allegiance with my own judgments and worldview. |

Well actually, I had hoped that you would recognise that I am Dutch Australian and offering you a hand, a way out of supporting murderers. In 2000 I was on malaysian airlines flight MH17, and I now find your confidence in your own philosophy obnoxious and disturbing. Good luck with that. Your believes and findings better express in Politics thread. Good place for those who wanna talk about matters that they actually have no clue about. I'm tired enough of propaganda, West one too. And personal attacks just unacceptable. Your "helping hand" sounds not so good along with other sentences. My bad translation? Maybe, lets hope... And regarding murderers.... I don't support murderers, period. Do you? |

Drifting a little off topic maybe? I believe it is one of those unspoken, unless specifically mentioned, rules that we sometimes adhere to. As it was just an observation nothing more, I will leave this thread to go whichever way it wants. |

In amateur radio it is not a hard and fast rule, but it is generally accepted that you do not discuss sex, politics, or religion. I think it would not be a bad thing for individual members to consider for any discussion board or forum that is apt to have diversity in its participants. At least it is what I consider when participating. |
