What you do not understand is..
Functional alcoholics.
Those that consume in excess and yet it does not control their every live's movements.

I am once such.

I did not kill your daughter or wife.
I have never killed, maimed, nor even wrecked another person's car.
I mostly now sit at home and drink and post.

There was a time, back in the day, when I wrecked Buicks with abandon.
Toasted a lot of mail boxen, turned up a lotta turf with the front bumper.

Escaped it all with few scrapes and bruises.

You try and lay that off on me, and I can bulldoze you mighty quick.

I wern't having a "go" at you Mark honestly , You might be a "Functional alcoholic" but i think you get everything you need then hole up and start drinking , after making sure the kitty's are sorted etc .

You could well "bulldoze" me and that's fine but face to face i promice you would win but the kitty would go away with at least a "few stripes" ;-) .
probably best we "drop" this don't want either of us on "holiday" especialy you again .

B.T.W was my Girlfriend and daughter wern't married , and i don't do "threats" they are promises with me ;-) ( even if i'm a one legged "hop a long " nowadays
Life is what you make of it :-)

When i'm good i'm very good , but when i'm bad i'm shi#eloads better ;-) In't I " buttercups " p.m.s.l at authoritie !!;-)

Buenos dias, amigos y amigas.

Eric and I just returned from a trip to Guadalajara. Eric gave a talk at a conference there and I went along to enjoy the beautiful city of Guadalajara. We started with a city tour and later in the week I managed to arrange for myself an excellent private educational tour of the murals of José Clemente Orozco. Eric and I were also both able to tour the very interesting pre-hispanic ruins at Guachimontones. Waiters and Uber drivers all over the city were extremely tolerant with me as I practiced my bad high school Spanish. The citizens of Guadalajara were so warm and welcoming! This was our second trip to Mexico, and Eric and I hope to return to that beautiful country soon. We discovered lots of wonderful new foods, and of course we sampled some tequila!

My high school Espanol recognizes those words but doesn't remember what they mean. But I'll give it a shot, guessing from context.

Discussing two tequilas, ... speak all the languages of the world. ... ... and ... ...... and the rope?

Angela, I do hope you were wearing clothes (at least in public) as it would be so unbecoming to be arrested in foreign country for "indecent exposure"...

My dad's friend had some relatives that went to one of the boarder tourist towns. They got arrested for being in the wrong part of town and dressed showing to much skin. Their lawyer said it was to much trouble to fight the charge if they wanted too. But it was easier to get a license and be done with it. So they opted to get licensed. So they became legal bedroom rental partners. When they returned home. They framed the licenses and hung them on the wall.

A black bear has been photographed inside a small forest park about 1/2 an drive from my house. There's a contest for naming him:

When I went to Tijuana in '84, I had a snow cone and a can of Coke. My grandmother only had a snow cone and did not puke all over the hotel room bathroom floor in the middle of the night.

Oh my! I would like to clarify, for the record, that Eric is not suffering from G.I. issues.

He has been ill since last Thursday with a very bad cold and cough, probably caused by shaking hands at an international conference with hundreds of scientists from all over the world!

Guadalajara is a modern city with safe water. Eric and I both put ice in our drinks, ate salads, etc while in Guadalajara. Neither one of us developed any G.I. issues while traveling there.
