Hate crimes? Naw, America is too full of love. They'll even fight to the death to protect their love for the 2nd amendment!

Quite fitting I thought considering your constant total lack of such and I'm sure that it hurts as it is another true and inconvenient fact for you and your ilk seeing as your mob has killed more school children in this year alone than the IRA ever did (it's been 17yrs since the last IRA bombing, the same can't be said about the last time that U.S. kids were killed by some 2nd Amendment nut case). ;-)

Have you heard of the word "hypocrite"?

At least seven people in Riverside, California, were shot during a Halloween party at a nightclub early Monday morning, police said.

The shooting happened just after midnight (3 a.m. ET) at Sevilla Nightclub in Riverside during the club's "The First Purge" event based on the 2018 film where crime is made legal for 12 hours.

The Riverside Police Department said all seven people were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

Have plenty of empathy, but none for those who idolise a 243 year old piece of toilet paper.

Ah, news media GAB, founded in 2016 by pro-Trump conservative Andrew Torba seems to have an issue with all the companies it needs to spew its hate. I just wonder why that could be ...

There have been several instances where it has been said that an armed citizen in the right place at the right time has prevented serious injuries, however that is an exception rather than the rule as this now proves: "The president suggested yesterday that if only there had been an armed guard inside the synagogue, then it all might have been different. Well forgive me for saying, but four heavily armed and extremely well trained SWAT team officers went in and were shot trying to stop the carnage. You think one guy with his prayer book in one hand and a revolver in the other would have made the difference?"

Next excuse!

The student shot at a North Carolina high school Monday morning has died, police say.
The shooting occurred in a Butler High School hallway and stemmed from a fight between the victim and the suspect, said Stason Tyrrell, Patrol Commander for the Matthews Police Department.
The suspected shooter, also a student, is in custody, Tyrrell said.

Inbound lanes of the Dan Ryan Expressway were closed for about three hours Monday morning as Illinois state police investigated a shooting that wounded a man, authorities said.

The shooting happened on the expressway near 71st Street around 4 a.m. Monday. A 27-year-old man in a car was shot in the leg and taken in serious condition to the University of Chicago Medical Center.

Two other people in the car were not injured, state police said.

All inbound lanes of the Dan Ryan were closed from 79th Street to Marquette until 7 a.m.

Possibly, if he was trained, as the terrorist (yes that is the proper term) would not be expecting that, but this is missing the point, I think, the point instead being that it's madness to suggest that citizens should be armed and fearing for their lives everywhere. Doing so in a place of worship is something expected from Baghdad, Saudi Arabia etc. where sectarian violence is unfortunately a way of life, not the United States.

And yet still no mention of the "t-word" anywhere in his charges:

Bowers was charged with 11 state counts of criminal homicide, six counts of aggravated assault and 13 counts of ethnic intimidation. He was also charged in a 29-count federal criminal complaint that included counts of obstructing the exercise of religious beliefs resulting in death -- a federal hate crime -- and using a firearm to commit murder.

Terrorism is the use of violence for political ends/objectives. I don't think this could get much more accurate of a definition...

Ah, right... silly me.

Gun injuries, including many from assaults, sent 75,000 U.S. children and teens to emergency rooms over nine years at a cost of almost $3 billion, a first-of-its-kind study found. Researchers called it the first nationally representative study on ER visits for gun injuries among U.S. kids.

Researchers found that the stringency of a state's firearm legislation has a direct impact on the number of kids killed by guns.

Twice as many child gun deaths occur in states with the most lenient gun regulation, compared with states where gun laws are strictest, said lead researcher Dr. Stephanie Chao, trauma medical director at Stanford University's School of Medicine.

"It seemed to have a dose-dependent effect. The more laws there are, the fewer deaths there are," Chao said.

The study found that the link between child gun deaths and gun control laws persisted even after the researchers controlled for other factors like poverty, unemployment and substance abuse.

Dr. Georges Benjamin, executive director of the American Public Health Association, said, "It's more evidence of what we already know, which is that guns are an independent determinant of injury and death, separate from pretty much anything else."

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — A brooding military veteran and former teacher appeared to have made videos in which he railed at women and blacks, years before he fatally shot two women at a Florida yoga studio, wounded five other people and then killed himself.

Presence of a gun stopped this crime cold!
An off-duty Los Angeles County sheriff's deputy was sleeping in his vehicle when he was assaulted and robbed overnight Saturday in Santa Ana, authorities said.
