The Anti-gunners don't wish to control the crazies that perpetrate crimes of violence or they would be screaming for enforcement of the laws already in effect for that purpose instead of releasing offenders 'early' that were convicted of gun related crimes. They want to pass regulations to prevent law abiding citizens from defending themselves, on an equal footing, from those crazies. Funnily enough, I suspect I own more guns than you do, and most of mine have Moderators (Silencers), the difference is, the Police know how many, and where they are stored, as these are either sporting equipment, or for Pest & Vermin Control, and Deer Management, yes that's right, I'm a Qualified Deer Stalker too. I am not 'anti-gun', I'm just anti-free for all with a gun, allowing the crazies to get hold of one, and in my 53 years I've never needed to defend myself with firearms, or indeed anything else, including fists. Yes I'm allowed to apply for a Handgun as a Deer Stalker, for Humane Dispatch of Injured Wild Animals, and no I don't want one. They don't understand the basic fact, proven daily, that criminals BY DEFINITION do not obey laws. If they want a gun, they will get a gun. Pandora cannot be put back in the box. Yet that really isn't the case here, only serious crimes such as drug dealing seems to involve firearms, and usually they shoot each other with a shared gun, there's no pandora's box opened in the UK. Criminals don't arm themselves with firearms to steal your TV, they sneak in when you're out, or asleep. There will always be guns, there will always be crazies and preventing everyday Americans from defending themselves from those crazies will never be accepted by The People. I don't doubt it, still think you're all nuts to put up with such a society.

These people were United States citizens living under the Second Amendment with access to firearms, etc.: Oh yeah, I can say that, at least until you give your definition on what makes a population an indigenous population, I reckon I'm indigenous here, with 3,500 year old Druid Stone Circles, 2,000 year old Roman ruins, 1,000+ year old Castles and Churches, living in a town given its Royal Charter in 1189, in a country that single handedly fought the full force of the German Nazis, how many stones you want throwing exactly?
