Winning at home after a loooong day. Great time in An Fran. Fleet week - several US and Canadian ships visiting. US Navy Blue Angels doing their show over the Embarcadero and Fort mason area. Only hassle was getting out of there ate 5:30-6:00 pm. Took 1.5 hours to get from the pier area to Highway 101, so didn't get back to Fresno until after midnight, and home about 20 minutes ago. Otherwise great day. Donald Infernal Optimist / Submariner, retired |

Tomorrow is "Thanks Giving" in Canada, but we celebrate it today! The turkey is in, and the house work is done. All we need to do is sit back and enjoy! edit: Thanks to all for the good wishes, and we extend our good will to all who are celebrating today or on the morrow... |

Winning on a warm Sunday morning (almost noon). Years ago someone sent me a poem titled "Enough". I'm sure I still have it somewhere, but it isn't where I can post or quote it here. the jist of it was: May you always have enough to satisfy your needs, but not so much that you forget to be thankful for it, or become4 so focused on material things that you become enslaved to them. So on this day of Thanks Giving, I wish you all good health, good fortune, and always "enough". Donald Infernal Optimist / Submariner, retired |
