First Friday in October Win. And it's actually starting to cool down.

Soon I need to call up a heating and cooling contractor to fix the heater, could be the thermostat or a valve or a switch or the breaker, from what I've read one can't just buy a thermostat and plug it in, as it may or may not be compatible, so I've got $144 lined up for that now(hopefully that will be enough), I'm just waiting for the manager to get to Her office so I can ask Her which place She likes, though I do know it's not Clemmer.

Friday morning win.
Cool and breezy, but no clouds or rain forecast.
Nights getting cooler, too.
But starting next week, I have to get up earlier.
Back to work, 0630-1530. But with a smaller projected cotton harvest,
probably not going to work as many Saturdays.
Less overtime pay, more weekend for me. Win

Thermostats are pretty generic in the US. If you have heat only there are only 2 wires. Here is a how to.

What I've read is that not all systems are alike, there might be nothing wrong with the thermostat at all, I'm thinking it's simply the breaker, which type is the question, which does need replacing, since a hold down tab is broken off, of course I can't stand there long enough to do the job. Of course simple doesn't always apply.

Give me any info you have. Is it a gas, elect or something else. Central, baseboard, wall, etc. I might be able to trouble shoot it.

The heater is a gas Coleman central heating system, w/a Nordyne 903993 thermostat, the heater has a pilot light, but then I think it's a 28yr old system, sorry I don't know the model number of the heater. The only labels on the heater are torn and mostly not helpful in the least, unless one wants to know the flue height. The thermostat is set to heater, since that is all there is.

Nordyne Thermostat, a 992 and not My 993, but it's close enough though.

A good resemblance to My gas heater, minus any duct work that's under the floor, that and the decals are different on the cover of the heater.
