Looks a lot like an AT&T DAS (cell phone) Antenna.

The one on your pole is probably a different carrier, Verzion, Sprint, etc.

If you're in a dense urban are with lots of high-traffic railroads all around, it could be a ground station for Positive Train Control. I'm not saying it is, just throwing that out as a possibility.

Interesting. No train tracks nearby, though.

Really? I've never seen a cell phone tower in a residential neighborhood. Another one of these mystery poles popped up a few blocks away, too.

I went back and examined it a little more closely and it's apparently not fully wired and operational, yet.

Ah yes, an outpost of the former and extinct Tkon Empire.

Spot fill-in cell repeater (aka "micro-cell"). Not exactly common, but very useful if there is a strange dead-spot in an area with otherwise good coverage (probably only one operator affected).

Or problems related to switching from 2G to 3G to 4G and them being on different frequency bands so the signals propagate differently. Also may be related to many more people in an area getting rid of their landlines. Also could be restrictions on the look of cell towers and NIMBY people.

Me thinks that is prudent.

A new species of flatworm parasite have been named in honor of US President Barack Obama.
It's called Baracktrema obamai.
Is that an honor?

I'm having a bad day today, why?

Blood, in My urine, more than enough to warrant jumping in the shower,
whatever it is in My bladder, it hurt like hell today, My white briefs are now
red. I'm not bleeding, nor dripping after the shower.

If I could do something I would, I can't even get an ultrasound cause the tables
for that only go up to 300 lbs, I'm near 425 lbs.

Yeah it was a mess, thankfully I have a hand held shower head.

I'm feeling better, mostly.

Oh Vic is there any way you can get in to see a doctor?
I don't know what you have, but blood is always bad, and
what with you also having pain I think that you will now
have to treat this as a big priority. Please tell us that
there is something you can do tomorrow.....

No there isn't much of anything that I can do, I've been enduring pain off and on for over a year, red stuff not so much, I could drive to Barstow CA, but that is all.

Cause of the 3 titanium screws in My left leg, I can't even have an MRI done.

Medi-Cal will with IEHP cover whatever needs to be done, just not in this area.

Ultra sound tables are designed with women in mind, not giants.

That's one reason why I'd like to move, I'm damned if I do, and damned if I don't here.

Why can't you have an Ultra Sound standing up?

Standing is a problem, 425 lbs, OA from My shoulder to My hips, I'm 6'1" tall, I have an overhang that pulls on My spine, plus the 3 titanium screws above My ruined left ankle.

Both hips and the right shoulder had at one time been dislocated.

In any case that would mean the area to be scanned would have more tissue over the bladder.

The Doctor had wanted to do an invasive scan, you can guess where too, no I did not like that idea at all.
