A portable electric would cost too much to run, My best idea for the moment is getting another PC up and running, that I can do and it will give Me some heat, though I will have to remove a video card, since the fan/radiator for that card is facing the bottom of the case(heat rises), a big, no no, I read and replace the dead cpu cooler.

Are you sure about the cost difference? I would bet that a small space heater, judiciously used, is a much better way of generating heat in a home we know you have already caulked to eliminate drafts - especially if you already qualify for a reduced rate on your electric bill due to your financial situation.

I already know what last years bill was like in the winter, well over $100, one month was $103.32, I know peanuts, but not for Me, cuts into Property Taxes in December($102.65, 1st part, 2nd part due in April 2016)... That's just for Electricity. Yeah 20% off on the gas and elec bills, the Care rate from SW Gas and SCE. And yeah the space heater would do the trick, so would a PC for that matter, right now I'm running a crippled PC w/50-60F night temps, 40's are predicted and 30's at night are coming soon enough. Grace will stay near the PC at night in the winter. I still have a good amount of heat loss from 2 windows that I'll have to replace eventually, but that's about $330 for each custom sized vinyl dual pane window, unless the prices have changed since 2007 and they might have by now.

Oh and that should be 2 PCs, I do have enough for 2 cpu coolers.

Can you put plastic sheets over the windows? The air pocket sealed in will act as additional insulation.

Also, instead of removing the video card, can you turn the PC on its side so the bottom will have better air flow?

Plastic sheets, except for 1 single pane aluminum framed window(rear bathroom), 2 windows are single pane w/sound proofing window inserts that are taped up and the other 4 are dual pane vinyl windows, no I can't, I don't even have a working step ladder anymore(though it is on My list of stuff to replace).

The PC, it's a full tower case and is rather tall, see the pic, technically what the bottom card needs is to have it's radiator in the drive bays, but I don't have the brackets. I better go, groceries to be put away.

I ordered a Lasko space heater, one that I'd used a winter or so back for a bit,
I can put the heater on a nightstand that is similar to My kitchen countertop in My bedroom, then I know I won't cough at night.
I'll have to go and pick it up when it's ready at Walmart in Barstow, possibly on Saturday, I'm waiting for an email for the go ahead on that.

Ok here is something I built to save on heating costs back when I was in grad school. A solar window heater.

I made a wooden frame. 3 sides were 1x4 and a top piece made of a 1x6. The frame should be as wide as the window you will put it in. Make it 8 feet long, a standard lumber size.
Cut 3 holes in the 1x6 as shown. Put a muffin fan in the center hole. Cut the top edge of the frame to about 30 degrees. What contols here is supporting the bottom as it sticks out your window. If it will not reach the ground you will need to build a support for the bottom.
Cover the under side with black plastic sheet. Tape it with duct tape. Place an alumimun dryer hose from the fan to the the bottom of the frame. Duct tape again. This hose allows the fan to push the air all the way down to the bottom of the heater. Cover the top side with clear plastic. Use more duct tape to hold the plastic and then stapeled the tape. I added a small solar cell to power the fan. Total cost is about $25-$30. I used this in Spokane all winter and it allowed me to turn the heater off on sunny days. Considering how much sun you get, one or two of these will keep your trailer nice and toasty most of the time.
This window heater will heat the air which is forced down to the bottom by the fan. Air pressure and convetion will force the heated air out the top holes into your room.

Carlos, your high school project looks a nice simple way of building a solar room heater - I guess it needs to stick out of a window that can be closed against it to prevent all that free hot air escaping back outside.

Yes, it does need a window that slids up and down as opposed to one that slides sideway. Quite amazing how much heat it captures.

We dont have any sliding windows here in Scandinavia.
Why? It's more easy to get a firm sealing if the window could be open outwards or inwards.

Ok I got My temp heater retrieved from Walmart until I can get help from the Community Action Partnership of San Bernardino County.
This is in My bedroom, Grace should like this, I have the heater set at 74F, just set and forget.
76F is the room temp at the time I snapped the pic.
The heater is plugged in directly to the outlet. Not a bad shot for a phone...
