Lots can happen, however as far as I remember Norfolk and Southern have withdrawn support for steam excursions. Who knows. Still it's at least not the previous PRR S1 Class 6-4-4-6 which could only run on one stretch of the PRR, the S1 Class consisted of one locomotive with 84 inch drive wheels. Operating speed 120mph, claimed top speed of 133.4mph. The first PRR duplex was the single experimental S1 #6100 of 1939. It was powerful and managed to reach 100.97 miles per hour (162.50 km/h) on level track with 1350 tons passenger stock behind her. Its performance encouraged the PRR continued to develop duplex steam locomotives. The S1 was built unnecessarily large for her exhibition at the 1939 New York World's Fair until October 1940, therefore its turning radius prohibited it from operating over most of the PRR network. The 6-4-4-6 design reduced driving set traction to the point that it was especially prone to wheel slip[citation needed], thus only one Class S1 was built. My N scale electronic billboard project is completed. It uses an Arduino Nano with a real-time clock and temp sensor, and the billboard frame was designed by me and printed on the 3D printer. I hope you enjoy! You can see a video of it here - https://youtu.be/Zn5LW31gPDs I'm putting myself to the fullest possible use, which is all, I think, that any conscious entity can ever hope to do. |

Great Hal. Now that you have it going, what is the RAC going to be? :) |

Thanks guys! Great Hal. Now that you have it going, what is the RAC going to be? :) Not very much. :-) However, I now think I should have put the Seti@Home Logo in the sequence! I'm putting myself to the fullest possible use, which is all, I think, that any conscious entity can ever hope to do. |
