Error in initialize BOINC.

Hi, First, sorry my english. I´ve many years BOINC in my netbook. BOINC has corrupted in the error update. I was reinstalled the BOINC and SETI, but before i was uninstalled using Uninstall program to clean all traces of BOINC. Reinstall now, and i can´t inicialize de Seti. 21/07/2015 08:28:19 | SETI@home | Scheduler request failed: Failure when receiving data from the peer Unless you were caught out by Seti's maintenance - every Tuesday the project goes down for several hours for backup and maintenance - and it's still happening at this time, it's most probably something of a firewall or proxy blocking access. Are you behind a (company) firewall or proxy? What this says essentially is that BOINC can send information to the project but anything that the project sends back is not received back. For firewalls, make sure that the BOINC client (boinc.exe) can pass through the firewall on TCP ports 80 and 443. For proxies, you'll have to get permission from whomever set up the proxy and then add that information in the Tools->Options->HTTP or SOCKS proxy tabs. |
