G'day everyone. Seeing as today's usual Hump Day outrage is now over it's time for a beer or 3 up the top pub. :-) Hopefully my 2 rigs might be able to build up their caches a bit while I'm out. Cheers. |

Hello all. I have neglected this side of the board way to long. I will pop in now and then to say Hi and share a brew with you all.
Old James |

G'day James, it's good to see you back and I hope that you enjoyed those beers. :-) Beer O'clock is still 2.5hrs away here and I have another laptop spread out in pieces all over my workbench again. Cheers. |

Hello all. I have neglected this side of the board way to long. I will pop in now and then to say Hi and share a brew with you all. Long time I'd say, I was thinking about you just the other day wondering where you went. Still working those nights yet? |

I had 2 for you at lunchtime buddy, but you may have to put up with a few rum'n'limes later, more so if any of them crazies turn up. ;-) Cheers. |

Hi Grant and Wiggo. Yes I'm still on second shift. Plus working overtime on Saturdays. I have been working to hard to get things fixed on the house before I retire in 2018. I'm having a few beers now before I go to bed.
Old James |

That's good to hear James, but these days I find jobs to do on this place just to keep me occupied in retirement, when other things don't intrude on free time. Sunday Beer O'clock is only 2hrs away so I better make sure that everything is ready for it. ;-) Cheers. |

That's what I'm worried about Wiggo, staying occupied. I like working at my job and I like the people I work with. I just hate having to have to go to work. Its kind of scary actually thinking about being retired. And I'm having a few beers here.
Old James |

Tell you what James when I retired I was upset wondering now what am I going to do? Trust me, I got over it quick. :) |

Of course, I quit working under different circumstances(to take care of my mother), but I don't miss the 3rd shift at all. The only two jobs I ever really enjoyed didn't pay much. There's one lonely Dos Equis in the fridge. It's been sitting there awhile, keeping the ginger ales company. ;~) The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

Ginger Ale comes in two brands. Seagrams and Canada Dry. Each I like to drink down. |

Ginger Ale comes in two brands. Seagrams and Canada Dry. Each I like to drink down. I have some Reed's in the fridge that claims to have 17 grams of fresh ginger in every bottle. It's pretty good, but I like the fizzy snap of Canada Dry a little better. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

G'morning to everyone on this lovely cool summer's Sunday morning in the highlands down under. That's what I'm worried about Wiggo, staying occupied. I like working at my job and I like the people I work with. I just hate having to have to go to work. Before my retirement I was much the same James, and I had a move from the city to the country thrown in at the same time, but the worry was unfounded. My hobbies here alone keep me occupied, good friends around to get together with for a good time and I'm starting to do driving trips to warmer climates during the winter months here to get off this mountain. ;-) Today I'm trying to recover from 3hrs of mowing, trimming and edging the yard here yesterday (you can actually watch the grass grow here ATM). :-( Anyhow, Sunday Beer O'clock is only 90mins away so I better get my 3rd coffee in for the morning. :-) Cheers. |
