They sang of darkness and also of light. They were the voice of my generation. They witnessed pain and sorrow and war. They survived it, as did I. I believe only Stookey still survives. Travers and Paul have both passed on, sadly. We all have out jet planes to get onward. And although they sang the songs of Dylan, time marches on. I always thought I might remain on that train going west. Concerning myself and the few first friends I had. A million to one. That the one road we travelled would ever shatte4r and split. I just watched the Kentucky Derby, while eating Kentucky Fried Chicken in My Old Kentucky Home with my mother. And Kentucky is supposed to be one of the best places to see the total solar eclipse of August 2017!

I would like to see it. I was eating lunch on the courthouse steps about 20 years ago the last time, and I didn't know what in the world was going on. It was very odd. The temperature even changed. The mind is a weird and mysterious place
