Battle of the Atlantic History Channel, We were reading the German codes after a certain point...

The joke was, that the Germans could have gotten their orders quicker from the UK, than from HQ.

the Russian swimmers, but no one knows his name yet.

Watched Eye In The Sky.

I like it but, in reality I see CPT Watts being punished for not firing
when he was supposed to fire (the first time). Military superiors are
always covering their own asses and would be worried that allowing CPT
Watts to, in effect, question the order would ruin their careers.

We just watched an interesting documentary about Thomas Edison. He was apparently a very stubborn fellow. Yes, he perfected the incandescent light bulb, but he was so resistant to switching the power supply from DC to AC, that he kind of lost out. He also worked for years on a new mining technology, but the company he was in was a money pit. Then he turned to motion pictures, but stubbornly resisted projection systems for it.

Stranger Things on Netflix.

Not happy with Wynona Ryder's performance.

Not happy with the ending. There was no ending. WTF?!

Just watched Erin Brockovich. I had never seen it. Pretty good, actually. I like Albert Finney.

I won't go into detail since most of you are probably already familiar with the plot or have seen the movie, but it's a true story about toxic water in a town and how Erin Brockovich became an advocate for the people.
