Just watched the The Paper Chase. I saw it many moons ago, and my mother and I loved the tv series that spunoff from it, but I'm sitting here puzzled as to why Hart threw his grades away at the end. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

Great link, Suzie. Thank you. Now I want to see the series again. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

Just out of curiosity, and because I'd never seen it before, I watched The Paper Chase yesterday. All other thoughts aside, I don't know why he "flew" his grades into the ocean, either. Obviously he decided they weren't important to him, but why? I guess we'll never know. (Unless the writer has discussed it somewhere.) ~Sue~ |

I don't know why he "flew" his grades into the The tv series had Hart continuing law school, but I don't remember how they addressed that question. I loved John Houseman as the professor. I had one or two irascible teachers back in school days. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

The Making of a Murderer, the Netflix documentary series that has received 54 Emmy (?) nominations (iirc) along with a lot of criticism. I've finished eight of the ten episodes. ~Sue~ |

Correction: The Netflix series I was watching was Making a Murder, not The Making of a Murderer. I've finished the series now. ~Sue~ |

Eric and I recently finished that 10 hour OJ documentary. It was very well done. So did we, but this documentary provided context, context, context. The documentary is not at all sensational. Rather, it methodically examines complex race relations in our country. I highly recommend the viewing of this documentary. |

I highly recommend the viewing of this documentary. It's in my queue. Since we don't subscribe to ESPN, is there a way to watch it? The mind is a weird and mysterious place |
