I have a very special place in my heart for kitties.
Once my ex GF literally just tossed Tigger and Squirrel onto my bed one day and then said "F you, they are yours now" life has not been the same.
The GF left, but the young kittens stayed.
They immediately wandered over to me and started to suckle on my tits...really.
They were that young.

15 years ago, Tigger was thrust into my life as an unwanted and angry kitty.
She left my life as the most beloved cat any feline could wish for.
She was loved and cared for as best I could.

I, once I get my kitty mojo back, am going to search for kitty marker stones.
They deserve no less than that.

Mark allow me to point out a few differences.
I served in the military, you did not.
I started and ran a small business giving employment to a half a dozen people for 15 years as nearly as I can tell you always worked for someone else.
I was fortunate enough to obtain a college degree, you were not.
You have cats I do not even though I like them well enough.
You claim to believe in God, I am an agnostic.
I am 70 years old, you are much younger.
Those differences are enough to account for differing view points without my being paranoid.
