[quote][quote]I believe I have already made it abundantly clear I will not vote for Trump. Who I will vote for, though, is my own business. In what world is Carson ethical? The former physician could have dispelled a myth about vaccinations but decided instead to subscribe to it. In my book, at least, putting the lives of children ahead of one's own political ambitions does not make one ethical. Shame on you CLYDE. I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ... |

Most of the reasons Trump is trolling the heck out of us have already been mentioned but I'd like to add a couple more to why I'd hate to see him president: 1) Point out that he's not making any sense on whatever subject and you're a communist. I have no problem calling this guy an idiot, and if POTUS I'll still be calling him an idiot. But I'd rather not be calling the President an idiot if you know what I mean. 2) We may be discussing politics but we're discussing politics in a Seti forum. And the day Mark wakes up to a msg from Eric that one of his crunchers found THE signal... is the day before Mark himself smashes every single bit of electronics kit on the kittyfarm with a Gibson axe out of frustration. Because sometime between those two events President Donald will likely start bashing on you, instead of congratulating you Mark. He'll introduce you to the world as Mark "the Hippie from Wisconsin" Sattler member of the pinko cult of Berkeley, accuse you of trying to invite aliens to earth, steal your lunch money, and make fun of the kitties. Seriously though, does this guy sound like Carl Sagan to you? Arthur Clarke? Spock? Jean-Luc? Dan Werthimer? You guys (all of you this time) do realize that the POTUS clip confirming alien intelligence will have replay value to the ages of ages? Amen :) |

Bobby after reading the article I can see where your coming from as a doctor he should just explain that things like Human Papillomavirus is a vaccine that only girls need and they only need that one once they are about 11 or entering puberty and the same for boys although it not a big concern for men .We found and came up with the vaccine for it girls are given it when they are about 12 years old here not as baby's or children but as teenagers. As for hepatitis well unless your a junky again this one's not needed till you are a young adult at the earliest Type b Flu and normal flu maybe that one and as for the others in the article they all sound ok . I think the big problem with it thou is giving to many in a short time when young kids have not developed a immune system that can handle so many vaccines given so quickly And as a doc he could have said words to that effect |

I think the big problem with it thou is giving to many in a short time when young kids have not developed a immune system that can handle so many vaccines given so quickly Sources please. To the best of my knowledge, vaccines are not given in a "too many too soon" manner. I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ... |

But I'd rather not be calling the President an idiot if you know what I mean. Put another way, the USA was born of a protest. No person is perfect. So no president can be perfect. Given that mistakes will be made, does Mark or anyone else want to be the one to feel the wrath for pointing one out? Capitalize on this good fortune, one word can bring you round ... changes. |

I think the big problem with it thou is giving to many in a short time when young kids have not developed a immune system that can handle so many vaccines given so quickly I wouldn't say that it's "all that quick" personally as my 3 2nd generation kids went through the NSW Immunisation Schedule (they're 20-23.5 now) and it did them no harm (except for the needle pricks), also I was the parent that took them to have it all done (their mother couldn't do it) so that's my input on the subject (better off having safe kids). ;-) Cheers. |

Bobby what I'm talking about is the fact I believe after seeing a show about this in America that to many to soon is simply the number given I believe it's 3 months between certain vaccines . When I was a kid I had the shots but I'm shore we where only given 2 or 3 not the amount they do now and some are not needed till later when they are young adults or in there teens . I'm not saying people should not vaccinate there kids they should but I don't think they should be given they way they are 3 vaccines in 1 shot . 1 shot wait 4 weeks then give the next one not 3 at once or more . Vaccines do cause allergic reactions in many people and normally given 1 at a time the reaction is minor I question what happens when there are reactions to more than 1 vaccine and weather this is causeing the Autism . Vaccinate yes but I do believe they need to be given 1 at a time and with 4 weeks break between not the current system of give the kid all the shots at once and then follow it up 18 months later and all because people don't have time . Make time fer gowd sake . anyway we are off topic hear so maybe a new thread about this you may put up Bobby |

Poll: Nearly 40 Percent of Florida Voters Think Ted Cruz Might Be the Zodiac Killer I believe it. Reality Internet Personality |

I question what happens when there are reactions to more than 1 vaccine and weather this is causeing the Autism . All the available evidence suggests there is no link between vaccinations and autism. This is one of the most dangerous and sickening myths to have arisen over the past 10 to 15 years. The myth needs to be consigned to history. The former physician who started it been discredited and struck off the register of physicians by his governing body. That Trump perpetuates this myth makes it relevant to this thread. I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ... |

One more chink in the armor of Trump, along with hiring of foreign workers. Poll: Nearly 40 Percent of Florida Voters Think Ted Cruz Might Be the Zodiac Killer Ridiculous. The age of the Zodiac Killer would ne, at a fair minimum, 65 years. Cruz is around the age of you and I, Es. Here's a good reason to be concerned about Cruz. And Rubio. Even for Christians, because their brand of Christianity could be the "wrong" denomination. Cruz = Theocrat? Rubio = Theocrat? So, it looks like Trump is leading by double digits in Florida currently. But that's among those interested in voting in a Republican primary. Half asleep during 30 minute news tonight, but I could swear I heard, at the same time Florida in general would be 60-70% scared or angry if Trump ends up the nominee? Did I hear right? I am trying to find more info on that poll. Capitalize on this good fortune, one word can bring you round ... changes. |

... Had no reason to believe otherwise, but now this ceritifies I was correct about Cruz's age range. The Zodiac Killer's killing spree began before Ted was born, unless Ted is a time-travelling Teddy ... errr, Freddy Krueger. My choice, in order (as of today). Not trolling you Clyde, this is an honest question: Is it really possible to like both Rubio and Sanders? I mean, the main things Sanders wants to change, are the things Rubio wants more of. PS I'm a bit ashamed to say I've never heard the name John Kasich |

Sarge Ted Cruz is a republican . I looked up what you meant by theocracy as I had not herd that before and I think , mmmm What does it say on the wall behind the speakers chair in the Congress ? "In God We Trust" makes me think your country already crossed that line of Theocracy a long time ago so Cruz is just being that trusting god. I'm not surprised anyway , Republicans !!! or Tea party Liberals here (Republican) win election and in there first budget give the catholic church $250 mill to teach religion in all schools. I though the church was not to charge for teaching the gospel ??? Not that the Australian Tea Party the Liberal National Party gave one thought about giving the church 1/4 billion dollars. Republicans no matter what country are the same . so use you head and figure out that you don't vote for them . Leopards don't change there spots |

Sarge Ted Cruz is a republican . Glenn, I must say that I am somewhat shocked that you have not heard about the theocratic elements in the USA. Even the most basic 'survey' course on the history of the world in the modern (1450-1950) era should have at least touched on it. It was an undercurrent running through society over here since the VERY early days of the British Colonies. It surfaced again about 150 years later in the writings of Thomas Paine in his pamphlet 'Common Sense' in 1776. Ever hear of the phrase 'Manifest Destiny'??? From "Building the Continental Empire: American Expansion from the Revolution to the Civil War" by William Earl Weeks https://books.google.com/books?id=vcsk8UsgNRsC Historian William E. Weeks has noted that three key themes were usually touched upon by advocates of manifest destiny: "In God We Trust" makes me think your country already crossed that line of Theocracy a long time ago Ya think? No shiat, Captain Obvious! It has been the license for the USA to fark with the entire rest of the world, and the UK to do the same too (where do you think we GOT the notion??). "GOD told us to do so!" At least domestically, things have calmed down over the last 50 years or so. This is why Trump should scare the ever-loving red hot branding irons out of all of ya... He is damn-fool enough to start it back up again. Canada & Mexico, be afraid. If Trump gets elected, you might be 'next'... |

Come on....really. Zodiac killer posts in this thread? Trump is going to be our next president, and I would appreciate it if some of you get back to reality and acknowledge that. The ball is rolling too hard and fast to stop. The clock is ticking......tick tick tick. Now, whether you like it or not is your own story. No more than time stopped in Dallas once the bullets (more than one) hit their mark. I should not be surprised if Trump is also assassinated, because he just gores so many oxen. But, I go on record as having made the same assumption about Obama. I was dead sure somebody would have taken him out by now.........I really was. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting."
