So, the splitters are running. Just wondering if anyone is succeeding in getting WUs? I'm not ...

Yes, slowly building back up my cache, mainly MB with the occasional AP thrown in.

Wow! The AP splitters are humming like sewing machines. I've managed to snag an average of 20 wu's an hour since 19:30 UTC. (Having said that I'm knocking on every piece of wood I encounter).

Yeah, I can't complain about the availability over the past ~24 hours. My 10-day cache had dwindled to about 50% and has since been refilled. Got a few B3_P1's, but offline testing shows they are not actually 100% blanked. I didn't test every single one of them, but when two of the five I have from one tape have some actual crunching potential.. I didn't see it necessary to test the rest of them.

Watch this be another event where some of them from the same tape are 100% blanked and some aren't. *rolls eyes*

Nice run indeed. Best in many a moon.
The kitties still had 1,000 of them pretty APs in cache when I got home from work tonight. And they were crunching them all day long as well.

The kitties did well snagging them for the crunchers today!

Odd, very odd, 2 AP splitters are running, but no AP's being split...perhaps they're warming up for later ;-)

...now none are running - I think they wake up every now and then to see if there is anything to do, and on seeing no nice new tapes to split go back to sleep again.

(As I type there are no new tapes needing their APs to be split, sleep tight AP Splitters we hope you are needed soon)

It's been another good run for me. Keeping my rig stable and avoiding lockups has been helpful. Running stock values across the board for now. Comparing my rig to others, it looks as though I should stay around 40K RAC, maybe a bit higher, we'll see.

Nice numbers there! Can't quite get there on my quad cores.
And it indeed is a nice run right now ... Didn't get the cache filled yet, though ....

Hi folks,

I am experiencing some problems when running 2 AP's on my GTX-750 (1 Gb):

12/19/2015 10:21:35 AM | SETI@home | task postponed 30.000000 sec:

From other messages I understood that this is probably related to not having enough GPU memory available. I changed my AP settings from:

-unroll 12 -ffa_block 8192 -ffa_block_fetch 4096 -hp -use_sleep

to

-unroll 8 -ffa_block 8192 -ffa_block_fetch 4096 -hp -use_sleep

but I still see the same message. I never had these problems in the past (and have been running multiple APs for at least a year), but I recently upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10, forcing me to update the NVidia driver to 359.06.
Watching GPU-Z while running 2 APs showed that there are spikes in memory usage (from 600 Mb to 950 Mb).

Has anyone else noticed increased GPU memory usage with Windows 10 and/or driver 359.06 ?

Tom

Hi Tom;

I suggest you skim through the Windows 10 thread, http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/forum_thread.php?id=77121or post your question there. Many have had problems with graphics drivers in Window$ 10. I have a NEW Acer tablet that will not run Win10 due to the graphics card installed. No help at all from the boys and girls in Redmond, WA.

AstroPulse is V7

Has anyone any idea what is happening to it?

Are we waiting for new tapes or a new version.
