It is, usually though it never hits the warmed up ground, then the rain is called Virga. Here I can without binoculars see trucks on the i40 and everything on the nearer i15 fwy, though autos on the i40 I can't see, the i40 is about 6 miles or so distant from My location, on the other side of the Silver Valley.

106F, yeah that sucks Mike, today is supposed to get to 100F, currently 87F w/20% humidity, We got all of 0.05 inches of rain on Thurs.. If the humidity were any higher I'd have to use the window a/c..
