Medical doctor says UFOs exist, talks government cover-up Dr. Steven Greer is the director of the Center for the Study of Extraterrestrial Intelligence (CSETI) and the Disclosure Project. A bit more about him from Wikipedia Steven Macon Greer (June 28, 1955) is an American retired medical doctor and ufologist who founded the Center for the Study of Extraterrestrial Intelligence (CSETI) and The Disclosure Project, which seeks the disclosure of suppressed UFO information. What has he has been smoking or drinking? |

SHARK TANK (True tales of IT life, fresh every weekday) Isn't that a job requirement for that position? This pilot fish is a former systems consultant in the banking industry, so he knows the "I hate computers" syndrome very well indeed -- as well as the experience of having to walk users through procedures that should be easy but never are. |

Just had to use one of these marvels http://www.fastcompany.com/1313153/coca-colas-100-flavor-interactive-freestyle-soda-fountain-action-video that replaced a more standard soda jerk station. Only one comment. ADA. There is no way for someone in a wheelchair to reach up to the computer touchscreen to make their drink selection! I can see the lawsuits now! Every fast food place that puts one in will have to hire a person to assist the disabled to use the thing. There goes the promised cost savings!!! (And this is progress.) |

There is a way to fix that, so that the height could be customized to someones height, but more than a suggestion might be needed. My idea: Make the screen able to be raised or lowered with a handle at the bottom or top of the screen, kind of like on some desk lamps, just sturdier... Bare with me, because you put that link in your post about the UFO nut, I was able to find an article about that darn Microsuck 10 spam that they put on my computer. I have dealt with it, so I I thought I would thank you for your work, even if you didn't know that you had helped me. Thank you Good Sir! |

celttooth, You are very welcome. It is amazing how sometimes something as odd as that leads to what you have been looking for... almost like the Six degrees of separation theory (and play based on it). |

Vic, I think they made it intentionally high so kids don't play with (damage) it. Remember it goes in fast food places, e.g. McD's and upchuck Cheese. |

My idea: Make the screen able to be raised or lowered with a handle at the bottom or top of the screen, kind of like on some desk lamps, just sturdier I've been trying to remember where it was we saw it (both Kris and I stopped at the place), possibly in Wichita, or maybe further south in Oklahoma. It was this same sort of multi Coke product dispenser, but rather than a stand alone machine it was a 3 wall panel setup with cups, lids, straws, etc on a small counter to the right, the center section was the dispenser where you filled the cup with ice/product, and on the left at about the same height as the other equipment was the recessed and slightly angled back touch screen to pick a flavor and fill your cup. Not sure if it would improve accessibility, but everything ended up being about waist high when standing in front of it. Don't know if that sort of setup is an option or some sort of home spun hybrid. |

I saw on TV this story about a woman eating nothing but crisps. Bizarre as it sounds, Debbie, 30, has eaten nothing but crisps for 10 years, and for the past two, beef flavour Monster Munch have been every meal. http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/meet-7-people-who-only-3420513 |

Damn, hypnotists to make one eat? Is there any out there that can cause weight gain? :-) God help us if this report is true. With the right medication, Internet trolls will plague the Net for centuries |

Just came across this - They're having a laugh aren't they? BLI "Lord Rees said: 'The search for extra-terrestrial life is the most exciting quest in 21st-century science.'" Really mi'lord? You think so? S@H has been going for over 15 years & is 20th century science "taking us into the 21st century"! Further proof that some really do live within their own little world. |

S@H has been going for over 15 years & is 20th century science hmmm, so why is the S@H start date 1999? BTW, it's normally common decency to acknowledge a link - you're 20 minutes late :-) |
