Yesterday evening the police in Klippan was alerted on a suspected burglary. But when the police arrived at the scene, it was clear that there was something else entirely.

A witness had seen how people sneaking around inside a room with flashlights just before eleven o'clock, and patrols were sent to the scene, hoping to make an intervention in the act. But instead of thieves and bandits they found two people who were looking for Easter eggs.

- The police left the place and let them continue to look for eggs, says Maya Forstenius, information officer at the police in the southern region, to the Helsingborgs Dagblad.

Windows 7 doesn't have any Easter Eggs anymore, MS exterminated them all I think, though back in 2013 there was at least 1, see this egg here, I tried typing wininit as shown and I got nothing.

Not really an Easter Egg in the classic sense with a programmer's name or initials hidden away, but Win 7's God Mode has been called an Easter Egg.

Description: It may be hyperbolically named, but Windows 7's God Mode is indeed omnipresent. It conveniently puts hundreds of settings from all around the operating system all in one place. To turn on God Mode, create a new folder on your desktop--or anywhere you'd like--and name it: GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}. Don't include the final period. The resulting folder will contain 270 items, representing virtually every configurable option in Windows 7.

Back 'in the day' I spent countless hours seeking, exposing and manipulating the 'microdot' to get programmer Warren Robinette's name to appear in the Atari VCS Adventure game.

Yes:) It's designed to us who worked in the business for decades.
It's VERY hard to remember where all these settings are!
And Microsoft change this for every OS.
Doh...

Halleluya. It also works with Windows 8.1
Thanks MS:)
