Me I have one of these, an Atari 1200XL, there were only 100,000 ever made, now there are only 101 that are still known to exist. That and an Indus GT 360K DSDD floppy disk drive and a Wico joystick. I have an ICD P:R Connection interface that needs power from the SIO bus(Sorry, I know, OLD Geek) and the 1200XL needs a part added to the SIO bus port and to the S-Video port on the motherboard, so that both ports will work right. An ICD P:R Connection(this emulates an Atari 850 Interface), the 'P' stands for Parallel Printer and 'R1' and 'R2' are 9pin 'RS-232' serial ports(not USB type). This was my first personal computer I did get to work some mainframes before I got my own. Remember playing a Star Trek game on one of these. |

My first computer was an Atari 400, modded to 48K ram, from 16K, and an aftermarket keyboard. The Atari Computer was the first home computer with a chipset, one that could display 8 bit color on screen(256 colors) and have sound in stereo and is considered the ancestor of all modern PCs. Stock 400. Modded 400. Mine didn't have any switches though. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

March Madness! Some cool air here, would help too.. I think I'll be getting some, I just don't know the when.. Since one could be by the weather in a couple of days and the other could be by a/c, in a few days. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

At the moment the house I am in is just over 6,000 sqft. it has 4-20 ton AC units. Fortunately, it's near the beach too, so all that AC is only used on really hot days. Winning on the balcony overlooking the water. |
