I added some weatherstripping to the front door while the sun was shinning on the door, got rid of the big gap that I found, now I get to see how long the heater stays off, between when the heater is on. Before the gap was about 11-15 minutes, I'm hoping the gap grows to double or maybe triple.

Rainfall here is 0.02" usually, I don't know if this is per year or per month, but sometimes We get more, then it's snow, like in 2008 when We got 6", Victorville got 12" and the whole i15 fwy from the CA/NV border to the Cajon Pass was shutdown cause of snow, but it was nice, quiet and cold, 20F that day...

Yes, I know that Chris S, of course this is a Desert, We don't get much rain here, since the area is far from the coast behind a mountain range.

It seems that winter has left and gone to Mexico....
+11 yesterday, and so much sun that I am thinking
of catching a few rays to-day.

Come on global warming!

Mid-Atlantic & Northeast getting ready for a major Nor'easter with blizzard and whiteout conditions from central NJ all the way into Canada. Here is Philly Towne they are forecasting 10-15" before it's all over some time Tuesday. Snow should start sometime after mid-night tonight and continue on to Tuesday. It looks like I bought my new snow blower, combination B-day & Christmas present from me to me, just in time. Ah, a good old fashion winter snow storm of my youth - remembrances!

For Lexington, Tuesday-Tuesday night: 18"-29"+, 65-75mph winds; higher,
along the coast. Appears to be a gooder.

Coal shovel is in the back car seat.

With all the trees, around here, we'll be ducking away from falling limbs,
et. al.

Today is the anniversary of the start of the Chicago blizzard of 1967.

Having been less than two months old at the time, I don't remember it. I was told, however, that when it was over, I was taken out and everyone cooed at the cute baby.

I also heard that my father drove his Volkswagen up a snow pile and it bottomed out.
