Bright at 6°C with a little wind. Forecast says the sun might make an appearance :)

It didn't :(

When they say things can get worse, sure enough it will. :))

With the British weather the way it is I've learned not to get my hopes up :)

+1, same here in Belgium.

Raining again is it? :)

Starting to rain here...

well you and the UK have the gulf steam to thank for that which pumps most of you rain in.

Probably all of it :)

And if the gulf stream were to ever shut down, hello ice age...

Wind Chill Warning from midnight tonight to noon Thursday. We'll be lucky if the high on Wednesday gets above 0F, and don't expect the chill to get above -15.

A year ago, I would have been hoping for them to cancel school. This year, I'm not because that would mean losing another day's pay. I'd get it back in June, but the check for the current pay period will already be three days short and I really don't want to lose another one.

A Late Start Day would be good, though. I'd still have to come in at my normal time, which would be easier without all the traffic trying to get here, and still get a normal day's pay for it.

That I know, I worked in a Library and before that in School I worked in the School Library, filing books, so yeah I know what you mean. I worked in 1 library and I was rejected for being hired elsewhere, I think I know why and it wasn't just cause of Me, but whom My immediate boss was. But that was decades ago, today I don't set foot in a library, they're too far away and I have an internet connection, so I have the worlds biggest library at My fingertips...

That's the optimistic outlook. Could be down to -35.

Talking about a new record low for Wednesday night / Thursday morning. The old record is -11, from 1942.

HI Celt..The weatherman has predicted for Quebec a cold front of -40C to -45C (no wind) for tomorrow. Do you have the same prediction in the West part of the country?

Where I live things are warming up
vary nicely right now. We still have
lots of time to freeze our butts off
out here.
Only -22C here to-day!
