The inside temp is a warm 78°F/20°C here and the air in here doesn't feel drafty anymore, thanks to all the work I did, the gas heater only comes on about once an hour and only for 5 minutes at a time, that's sure better than the 15 minutes the gas heater used to be on at one time. Temp outside is 54°F/12°C, over night the temp got down to 43°F/6°C, predicted high of 65°F/18°C... The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's

They've been saying all week that we will get some snow Saturday night and through the day on Sunday, but only a few inches, no big deal. This morning the new runs of the computer models came in and they issued a Winter Storm Watch. One model says 4.5", another says 8.5, and another says over 12 by Monday morning. Oh, and it's going to get cold too. High on Monday in the mid-teens F. I'd rather the schools didn't close again. Great :( Winter storm watch for the weekend: As much as 6-8 inches of snow The largest single snowfall of the winter season is expected to hit Chicago this weekend. The National Weather Service is forecasting 6 to 8 inches of snow will be on the ground by Monday morning, with a winter storm watch in effect from Saturday evening through late Sunday night.
