We had 12F last night with a wind chill of 4F. Skys were crystal clear, but unfortunately the light pollution killed the view.... that and it was just too blasted cold to stand outside looking up for very long.

Two good things about living here, I'm close to the fwy and it's largely quiet out here, the only bad thing is the flying bugs that want in, I had 2 this morning and 243 in 2014, all of the same type...

Here they come in thru the front door, either open or closed, the threshold is missing a rubber strip and that strip can't be replaced, I figured out a way to make My own, but this involves Wax paper, Great Stuff expanding foam spray, non stick spray(think cooking spray or PAM), duck tape, gray primer spray paint and newspaper. Some of this is disposable like the wax paper, newspaper and the tape, the paint is to protect the foam from the sun, I have a bolt on metal/rubber sweeper strip there and small moths and rain get in, bats used to come around at dusk eating a lot of flying bugs up, the bats vanished in 2011, in 2013 the moths started appearing. So I concentrated on doing fixes to keep them out, which also seemed to be good at lowering My electric and natural gas bills, oh the joys of owning and living in a fixer...

After I moved some or some people hit the house next door (to my house and burned it down, well my house when with it but I didn't own it then. I had my house pretty air tight over all but still cost me a bunch to keep it liveable.

AZ isn't kind to the people who have to live there, if you $100 they will take it gladly.

23C here again today (still no sign of summer here), but thunderstorms are circling the area again though I do hope that they'll dump their load somewhere else.

Cheers.

This cold weather is pissing me off as my water pipe is still not buried completely and I keep losing my water pressure.
