Suddenly 4 hysterical persons shouted at me that I was trespassing their property What silly talking is this Chris? They didn't mind that a sat on their hammock 30 yards from their property in a PUBLIC space. Here it's called littering a public space. A criminal act!!!!!! And the police officers also agreed! |

Janne, you are now providing details that you have NOT mentioned before. My Point is that one Swedish police officer said this. "Where are you coming from? I can hear that you are not from here". The very same that the perpetrator said 10 minutes earlier. Thats what I call very xenophobia and if I was black even a racist remark!!!! Or even worse. A MUSLIM!!!!!!!!! In Sweden Allemansrätten (lit. "the everyman's right") is a freedom granted by the Constitution of Sweden http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freedom_to_roam#Sweden
|

Sadly I didn't have no witnesses. I have nothing against police officers. I know Three. Met some from New York and New Hampshire as well. But my encounter with that one A*H in Kings Hell when I was in trouble was not nice. |

The confucious say, when paired with an offensive fake accent and pulling the eyes to make them look slitty (as depicted in the cartoon) is racist. I am sorry you can't see that. The Irish and the Scottish jokes are also racist and offensive. Seeing as I have heard countless Scottish and Irish people complain that they are, I wonder what world you live in. As someone of Irish and Scottish descent I find them offensive. My children, who have an Irish father, have been on the receiving end of a stream of racist abuse about the Irish. Chris, your attitude is a perfect example of English 'superiority'. You simply don't get it as you will never be on the receiving end of such abuse. I entirely disagree with ES99's view that almost everything she sees is endemically racist and is meant to be. She has highlighted many true instances of pure racism in America against black people, and the anti-Chinese laws of the late 1870s and 1880s, declarations that Chinese people were a threat to mainstream Australia was ridiculous. But other examples are just people being thin skinned and too touchy.... Chris, it is very apparent to me that you simply don't see it. You have made that clear on many occasions. I am not sure what to do to get you see that your comments are often pretty racist and offensive. I put it down to your age and lack of interaction with people of different ethnicities, but that is not really an excuse. Reality Internet Personality |
I find it incredibly funny! You're all descendants of convicts! Ha ha ha ha! That's why we sent you to the butt-end of the Earth! Yay, Coriolis effect! That is a silly statement. Yes, it is. I'm glad you understand that. You and Glenn seemed to have missed the further silliness which could be taken as insult in the last two sentences. Many current Australians can trace their descendants back to the original convict ships, but as Glenn says, in the 1960's Australia was crying out for skilled workers to emigrate out there. That is why we had the government backed "£10 Assisted Package" scheme. The fact that this is being repeated now for at least the third time indicates a thin skin, perhaps? See, some of us in the US did receive a decent education. I am aware of the reasons for the origination of non-First Peoples being in Australia. I knew it by age 18. Not from this thread. What I was not aware of was the 10 pound program. However, it is not surprising given what I learned from a fellow grad student who stude3nt taught in Australia for a year. I have also since heard of other programs to bring teachers to Australia. Yes, respect should go both ways. Yet, I fail to see it occurring in this thread. |

I am not sure what to do to get you see that your comments are often pretty racist and offensive. I put it down to your age and lack of interaction with people of different ethnicities, but that is not really an excuse. There is a 4th option, namely to call you out whenever you say something stupid. You might not like it, but this option is a perfectly valid choice for as long as you are participating in a public discussion. If you don't want to be criticized for your speech, don't engage in public discussions. |

I am not sure what to do to get you see that your comments are often pretty racist and offensive. I put it down to your age and lack of interaction with people of different ethnicities, but that is not really an excuse. Unfortunately for you, Chris, I don't have to what you tell me. I have other choices and also I would like to remind you, yet again, that you don't actually speak for everyone. If you come out with racist comments I will point it out. If you come out with sexist comments, I will point it out. How you take that is totally up to you. Reality Internet Personality |

Forum is a place for gathering in ancient Rome, from the Latin forum marketplace, open space, public space, obviously akin to Foris, Foras, outdoors. Precise meaning meeting place for public discussion, is documented from the 1680s. |

And why you choose to do that is totally up to you as well. Because other people read here, and to allow offensive things to go unchallenged implies that I might agree with them or that those views are somehow the norm. Reality Internet Personality |

And why you choose to do that is totally up to you as well. & how many times have you stated that? Getting too hot in the kitchen for you? You're retired & suggesting the rest of us have nothing important to do but make comments on a public forum is nothing but the actions of idle people? HOW "superior" of you. Makes one wonder how you managed to cope with all those inferior people you met & worked with over the years. |

I read the whole link, that is where I got the information from that he was connected with gangs. can't remember or if that article says it but i think is was implied but not proven Ess . There was more to it . The man was trying to get nominated as the Labor candidate but Newman got the vote not him because Newman was campaigning on the drug issue which was a very big problem in western Sydney and was being run by the Asian Triad's know as the triple T's not the bikie's or other crime people . Biggest mistake i made living there and was a real wake up for a country bumkin like me that had not had anything to do with heavy drugs like Heroin . As it was the first place i lived in Sydney after i got devoiced and moved to Sydney to get away from things . |

The best way to meet other people with different "race" or "religion" is to get a dog. We now have a dwarf poodle who is very black called Tosca. Right now she's playing with kids from the middle east and central africa. Boy is that african girl black:) And she's not afraid of Tosca. Elderly muslims are however forbidden by their "religion" to even touch dogs. If they do they have to wash their hands seven times with some special water... However on girl from Iraq told me her father took care of a stray dog in Iraq:) @Chris. It's the best way to meet a woman. It's never too late:) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4UKlLurmz7Q https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ext1lC8XLOg |

In November 2012 hit the so-called iron pipe scandal like a bomb in the Swedish press. Many questions, however, has been left unanswered. Who processed the material? How did Kent Ekeroths movie in Expressen's happened? Who knew about the film before the revelation? This week we let defector Daniel Assai uncover the history of the iron pipe scandal from within the top tier of the Sweden Democrats. He can testify about a dirty blackout of several top politicians who unashamedly and for several years has lied to the Swedish people straight in the face. Politicians who today represent SD in parliament. And why you choose to do that is totally up to you as well. The only one on this board who is unthinking is yourself. You have yet to make a sensible comment in any of your posts to date. Is it possible you don't know how to do that? |
