Welcome back Grant!!! :-)

As others have said; we're all out of SETI WU's. Two servers have met their end, and so, no more work until the servers are fixed or replaced.

We're all switching to backup projects for now. This is going to be a long wait for WU replenishment. :-(

I hope your back gets better soon. :-)

I just got back from the P.O. and boy is it getting hot out there (32C is the forecast for today here again and we've broken those forecasts by 2C the last few days).

Almost down to an hour to go, but can I wait that long for an icy cold beer?

Cheers.

The beers are still flowing here, but the storms here have blocked out the satellite signal is it's now music instead of the cricket.

Cheers.

I have satellite as well and the one thing that has always puzzled me is why isn't it pointed straight up? That's where the satellite is, not at the horizon. Cheers :)

I thought the tv satellites hovered around the equator, and that's why; unless of course you live there, and then I guess you'd point your dish up. :~)

Here, ours sit over the Tropic of Capricorn Gordon. ;-)

Nursie had better let him have 1 soon or there could be trouble. :-O

Well I had a pretty full house here today as proven by my fridge being empty of beer now, I guess that I'll just have to have a rum next.

Cheers.

What's the reasoning? Does it have something to do with the sun?

Well I know there is Captain Morgan and Jack Daniels at the house. After about twelve or fourteen fingers of them. It might just turn into "Captain Jack" for a few more.

I can't answer any questions... too befuddled by stupid quantity of ten minutes naps interspersed with 45 minute wakenings so I'm giving up :) If you need any blinking and vacant staring done... just give me a shout... yeah... do that... rub it in!!! :)))

I should be doing some cooking now so that I can fill my freezer back up with meals, but it's to flaming hot so I'd better scrounge around the cupboards and see what other alternatives I can find.

In the meantime I think that I'll just have another rum, it maybe cooler here by the time I finish it.

Cheers.

Not sure if there's rum in this picture or not, but a good drink for a hot day is rum, orange juice, triple sec and sprite.
