My 10-day cache is slowly being rebuilt with a whole slew of _2-4 APs. I still need about 15 more to have a full cache, but I seem to be getting them faster than I'm crunching them. Even if no more came in, I'm still sitting on about 8 days of cache. I guess that's the one benefit to a non-GPU machine.

We must be round about 25 days (one deadline cycle) since the first major splitting. Yes, just the right time for a big resend event.

I just see my AP v7s are now finally showing their 'normal' estimate of 00:29:24, which was 12:23:45 on earlier occasions. So finally when they come in they won't hold the rest of my cache hostage over the wrong estimate. :-)

I want Beta!

My phone is going to finish its current pair of Einsteins in the next 20 minutes or so. It would be really nice if it could get Betas to work on instead.

(Okay, I'll stop whining now.)

Here is the Beta SSP David if you're interested.

http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/beta/status.php

Cheers.

Did they update that page? The last time I looked, the machines and processes listed on it were several years out of date.

However, it does confirm what I knew: Beta uploads are working, even if nothing else it.

I let my phone have a couple of tasks from Seti Main. Let's see if Beta is back before it finishes them.

Actually, /status.php was replaced by /server_status.php a few weeks ago, but that one is unreachable with the project down. So in spite of all the cruft caused by the conversion from mysql to mysqli queries for the php code, /status.php at least shows some basic information.

Regards,

Validation normally seems to happen in nearly real time to me. So long as both results are there to cause things to be validated.

After a short sampling that seems to be true. Gawd I've got a lot of pendings and neither of my GPUs can get APs.

Is anybody else not recieving work ?

The server status page shows more and more channel's avaliable for AP's but the event logs says there are no units for V7 ap's GPU or CPU ?

So which is it there is work or there is not work ? or is it the download server , that is stuffed now ?

AP shows 14 channels in progress & there are only 7 AP splitters. So if there seems to be something strange a foot. At the present rate we will run out of MB before the AP are split. Which will be the first time in a long long long while.

There have been AP files loaded since just after Noon EST. If you look, One has progressed beyond the first channel, http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/sah_status.html
Actually, I think that's a Mistake as No APs have been Split as far as I can tell. I certainly haven't seen anything other than Resends since Saturday Morning.

Note to person that keeps loading new files, the first AP channel hasn't been split yet, adding more files will have No Effect.
Maybe if you remove the 28mr11ab file that's been stuck since Saturday morning? At least it would be a start...

01jl11ad looks to have 2 splittings running on it. Rather than a completed channel and working on the 2nd.

That said, it does look like the RSS feed and the News forum don't match up. I'll fire David a note. Never hurts to check.

Yes, this is what I was referring to in my post. FWIW, they updated the news on the home page today, and it is still not reflected in the forum or the RSS feed.

I have to agree, only resends for me.

Or splitting is so slow that we didn't catch new workunit.

Beta is still MIA.

I see the 3rd file deleter is now running on bruno, though.
