Norton security reported this threats:

Name of threats: Suspicious.Cloud.9

c:\programdata\boinc\projects\setiathome.berkeley.edu\setiathome_7.03_windows_intelx86__opencl_ati5_sah.exe

Norton are deleting the file.

Well, it can always have happened that it got infected on your own system. It's neigh on impossible it happened on the Seti server, as they run Linux, and compile the applications even under Linux. So, 99.9999999999999% chance it's a false positive.

If you want to be sure, though, download the executable again and run it through Virus Total, which will scan the file with 50+ up-to-date virus scanners. If it won't find anything there, it's a safe file and your AV is overreacting. You can manually download the file from http://boinc2.ssl.berkeley.edu/sah/download_fanout/setiathome_7.03_windows_intelx86__opencl_ati5_sah.exe

Therefore, always, really always exclude the BOINC Data directory from being actively scanned by anti virus programs and anti-malware programs.

Now I have exclude the BOINC Data directory from Norton Security.

The Virus Total test was negative.
