And Suzie-Q I have no problem with your request in the Critter Cafe to help fund the medical treatment of the kittens you have found. In fact, I can think of no better venue to post it than a place where Critter People gather. I see that you set the "default" request to $35, and so with that Eric and I were happy to start off your campaign yesterday. Wishing you the best of success! Used to be my browser, but I found it just too slow, back to Google and I was surprised just how quick it was!! Still it is much more secure and never "phones home" to Google!! I suppose you can have speed or security no both. |

OK as Angela has always said that nothing is off topic here and I cannot find the gardening thread: Or is it some kind of lavender? On my balcony we have that flower. Same color and shape. Smell them and if they smell nice it's not Thistles. |

Looks like the Golden Bears have the beginnings of a perfect season. Beat the Wildcats. To make thing happier in SETI land, the Badgers beat the Tigers. |

I'm thinking of dumping Chrome in favor of Opera. I think Chrome is telling Google what I've been looking at on each computer so it can show me the same ads on my others. I did switch my XP cruncher to Opera, but I don't surf on that one anyway. When I was having trouble with Chrome, someone on Facebook told me that's almost exactly what happens. I said I hadn't been able to completely delte Chrome from my computer, and that I believed this because every time I deleted and reinstalled, all the old crap came back. She told me me that Chrome saves your preferences, bookmarks, etc., online. I belive her. ~Sue~ |

I just spent $200.00 on the kittens. That was just for their medical issues. They have worms, so there's that. They have the infection, so I got Clavamox x3. And one has lesions in her eyes, so I got meds for that. If you have been thinking about donating, please do. Please. Here's the URL: https://fundly.com/help-with-feral-kittens If you're not bothered doing so, please ask your friends. (I've posted my canceled check for the medical treatment on the Fundly page. Just scroll through the photos to see it.) ~Sue~ |

I'm in for $20.00.... I know it's not a lot, but I just lost a computer, just donated $100.00 to Seti, and the car needs about $300.00 worth of suspension work. Meow from my kitties to your little ones. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." Alan Dean Foster |

I am proud to tell you that I met all three Skunks that visit Angela's deck or call it home. The smallest one came within three feet, then Spawnie decided s/he was close enough. @Chris, he purrs a hello/misses you. Pluto will always be a planet to me. If Purvis is the smallest one then yes. I thouhgt he was honing in on some petting. Would I have turned it down NO. Would I still sit in isolation, maybe:) Pluto will always be a planet to me. Seti Ambassador Not to late to order an Anni Shirt |

OK as Angela has always said that nothing is off topic here and I cannot find the gardening thread: I think they might be Aliums, not thistles... |

If Purvis is the smallest one then yes. I thouhgt he was honing in on some petting. Awwww, I can't even imagine petting a raccoon, let alone see one at my door or in my garden (which I don't have). Really looking forward to pay those furry backyard denizens a visit in the future:) rOZZ Music Pictures |

OK as Angela has always said that nothing is off topic here and I cannot find the gardening thread: Yes That's it! They taste like garlic:) The name “Allium†actually refers to the genus of plants that includes onions, garlic, chives, leeks, and ramps |

I think they might be Aliums, not thistles... Thanks Angela, however I was informed that they are probably Echinops Or as I think I will call them, Globe Thistles. Also talking about wild animals, I had a close encounter with some deer today in Richmond Park Plus shared my lunch with a bunch of crows |

Ummm, you don't get to pet them Julie, they are wild animals after all. But yes, you can get up close which is magical. You don't want to try to get close to them. If you are very still, they might come investigate. I was taking pictures of one, and it walked up to me and sniffed my shoe laces. It then wandered off when he discovered they were not food. I think they might be Aliums, not thistles... I just love the crow pic Bernie! I once fed two doves when I lived in Ghent. They started to do some sort of dance, it's hard to explain, I really had some sort of contact with those birds. They even kind of bowed their head before they flew off. I've never experienced something like that ever since, it was beautiful. And no, I wasn't on some kind of drugs! rOZZ Music Pictures |
