My dad bought a liter of "Southern Comfort" eggnog. He said that there was no Southern Comfort at the house so he will have to water it down with Jack Daniels.

Edit: I'm going to the Spirit Shop to get him a bottle of "Southern Comfort" tomorrow so he can mix his eggnog properly.

Hot milk with rum and honey is #7's recommendation:) Get well soon my friend.

In an 8-ounce coffee mug -
2 tsp honey
1 or 2 shots blended (NOT Single Malt) Scotch Whiskey (or your favorite hard liquor, but whiskey or run seem to work best)
1 good squirt of lemon juice
Coffee, tea, or hot water to fill

Stir to disolve honey

Also works well on a cold winter night, even if you don't have a cold/flu...

I think I'll refrain from the dehydrating ingredient, but have the rest :)

That works, too. Especially when I need relief at work.

Speaking of relief, my stomach is grumbling.
Not sure if it wants a juicy bacon cheeseburger or a grilled SPAM and cheese and tomato sandwich.

I suppose it would be churlish not to wish them well, but I do wish the reporters would be a bit more accurate.

Mr Furnish and Sir Elton, who have two sons, became civil partners in 2005.

They do not have two sons. Each has had a child by separate surrogate mothers, who have both relinquished the children to them to bring up.

John/Furnish

I thought they were married a long time ago.

Not that I give a damn either way.

I went to the store the other night and counted how many different kinds of spam they have now and I counted 10 here.

I also seen an ad for spam on TV about a year or so ago where Mom, Dad and 2 kids sitting at the dinner table and having spam for dinner? Hey if they see me eat it for dinner have me commited to the funny farm. :))
Cheers everybody

I think its time for some cleaning and getting ready for a new version soon.

See you all after refurbishing.
