acceemir Aaaaaaaaaaaaah... yes please! :) Icecream it is! Well done :) @Julie - only way I know is to rejumble the jumble and try to find smaller words or letter strings (eg: ion or th or ph etc) and then see what you can do with the left over letters... but it's no guarantee you won't go insane while you're doing it :) |

How do you do that!! I stare at it until the letters start to swim in front of my eyes, then it becomes clear. Life on earth is the global equivalent of not storing things in the fridge. |

acceemir I just kind of randomly rearrange the letters into phonetically viable syllables, then see if any of them make sense. In this case, I said "creamice" to myself several times, but I didn't get it until after typing it out. Anyway, here's your new word: cmmnhiegoo (When I'm coming up with a new one to post, I type out the real word, then retype it jumbled to make sure I have the same number of letters. It's the only way I can be reasonably sure I used all the letters in the jumble. Then I delete the real word.) cmmnhiegoo Hmm nice goo :) No? Echoing mom... Euphemism for a nagging mother... erm... Income ghom - a shortfall in remuneration that results in... toothlessness? Oh gin come m - first and only line of "An Ode to Gin" by anniet Mhogo mince - finely chopped mhogo - a newly discovered (today in fact :)) form of fruitvegetablemeat um... Enmooching? Influencing others via mooching or loitering about the place in a sort of... looming manner...? Chemooming - perceived spatial disturbances that follow the ingesting of magic mushrooms. It's um... not in the dictionary yet though... Nor are the following ones to be honest, but I've been assured that they will be by the next print run... Enigmomoch - noun: a mysteriously appearing and disappearing Scottish loch. Not to be confused with an Enigmoomch - which is merely a mirage of a mysteriously appearing and disappearing Scottish loch - sometimes experienced during a chemooming. Monochimeg - a meg with only one chi or ancestral spirit lurking over them... How about.... NONE of the above? :) *ooh - good move anniet! that must get a correct!* :) Off to burn more brain cells... |

cmmnhiegoo While that is a true statement, it is not the word I'm looking for. David Sitting on my butt while others boldly go, Waiting for a message from a small furry creature from Alpha Centauri. |

Cheated - homecoming You really don't believe that there aren't websites where you can just enter the jumble and out pops the word. I have done it for all the words so far but obviously haven't posted. |

Cheated - homecoming I know there are. I used one a while back to settle a dispute in this thread. So what do we do now? Give it to Lynn? David Sitting on my butt while others boldly go, Waiting for a message from a small furry creature from Alpha Centauri. |

Okay, I guess it's Lynn's turn, unless Gordon has anything to say as thread founder. David Sitting on my butt while others boldly go, Waiting for a message from a small furry creature from Alpha Centauri. |

Okay, I guess it's Lynn's turn, unless Gordon has anything to say as thread founder. Fine with me. I actually never knew about the way to cheat on this until after I started the thread. My original idea was to stimulate our old brains and keep the thread moving along at a fairly fast pace with words that weren't too long and hard. Lynn's turn... :~) The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

I would love to play. Understand the game should go on. I have a medical test tomorrow, and can't play. Gordon, you please give it a go :) Thanks, Lynn |

Alright, take care; I hope you're ok. A long one, but hopefully easy for most of us... ;~} tarelearsixrertt The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

Alright, take care; I hope you're ok. They're much easier to spot when they have unusual letters, in this case 'x'. Zs are good too. Extra-terrestial. I'm particularly good with 9-letter words, but that's what years (actually over two decades) of watching Countdown does to you.
