updated my video card I think I have got and restarted my machine now I get the cpu is suspended because the computer is in use.Ty Open the BOINC Manager and click TOOLS from the menu, click the Processor Usage Tab and make sure that the "Use GPU while computer is in use" box is checked. This will allow the GPU to be used while the computer is in use by other resources. BTW, we still can't see your GPU on your web site computer page. I suggest that you close/exit BOINC and then restart it. Post the first 20-25 lines of the event log so that we can see what has happened. I read in one of your previous posts that you also installed Lunatics, my question is -- are you positive that you checked those buttons that directed the installer to include GPU processing? I don't buy computers, I build them!! |

no the ATI is plugged into my new computer I think it is working as I get messages saying that it has been suspended Even through your HD3000 is detected, it is of no practical use here, it may have CAL support, but it has no OpenCL support, you could run the old Brook+ AP app, but it's hardly worth it, best to concentrate on CPU crunching. |

I think that other projects, such as PrimeGrid, can make use of a HD3000. I do not recall if PG required double precision support or not. The HD3650 does lack DP support, but you can try it on various projects to see if they have anything for it to run if you would like.
