When you get the prompt, click on cancel and you'll get into the thread. This post explains it. Someone needs to remove a stats site from their forum signature and that should clear it up.

It means that someone's sig is pointing to http://setistats.haveland.com, and whatever is being referenced there requires authentication to access.

Ultimately what has been said here is correct: the user in question needs to either allow anonymous access to their signature (if they have such authority), or they need to remove it from their signature altogether.

I've just been through the entire thread, backwards and forwards, and I can't see any signatures from Haveland - I don't actually think the site provides them.

But there's an embedded graphic from Haveland in Grant (SSSF)'s post at message 1427397. Perhaps a passing mod could hide that post? I'll red-x it, too: I'm sure Grant won't mind if the reason is explained politely.

Done, fingers crossed.

That fix worked for me.

Richard, many thanks for tracking that down. I set out to go through the thread but got called away, not sure I would have seen what you found anyway. My apologies for attributiong it to a signature, I should have thought that one out a bit more.

Sorry about that, not sure what the go is there.
No problems looking at the site directly, but that post was causing a logon prompt to come up.
