You needed a whole thread for this question, that dead-ended pretty quickly? Or, will you post 20 things in a row in your made-up whimsical, nonsensical way? Ha ha ha. ;)

Maybe we should do that, too?
Nah, when absurdity is pointed out by being absurd, people tend to get mad at the pointer, red laser or no.

I missed the start of this thread since the originator is in my twit filter list.

I was finally able to access the site and log in (the roll out was a disaster).

What I've found out -- without subsidies, a comparable plan from the same provider with the same network will cost me $360 LESS a month than what I'm currently paying. Yes, $4K a year less. To max out of pocked in this plan is $6350 versus my current $5500. I make up tat difference in two months.

So, in case you were wondering about the plans in AZ -- the savings are significant -- on the order of what I expected though.

For those having an AGI of say $40K for a 1 person family in AZ, the cost would be about $1000 a year less than that since Arizona (surprisingly) was one of the states that opted for the medicaid extension.

The only time I hit the limit was in 2005/2006 -- Colon Cancer and chemo -- been diagnosed clear since then and rarely spend more than $2K out of pocket -- in fact the past 3 years, the out of pocket number has been around $1K.

I basically expecting to use the ACA approach until medicare kicks in in three years. As a single payer system with supplemental coverage, the coverage cost there is even lower than with ACA and the deductibles are less expensive big time.

Darn it, Barry HUSSEIN O'Bummer, why did you not clack your buttons on the podium EVERY time you lowered your arms after making a point? It was that distraction that made you powerless over me. Now, I am so charmed by you.

Obama administration says a total of 106,185 people selected a health plan through the ObamaCare exchanges in the first month, a number that falls short of expectations amid widespread website failures.

Selecting is Not Enrolling and Enrolling does not mean a payment is made. And 27 Million Visitors does not mean Unique Visitors. Or US Citizen or Legal To Buy Persons.

Another perfectly articulated statement, presented clearly enough and with enough insight to change people's viewpoints.

Thanks again, Mr Corn. You are really making a difference in this country and abroad. A positive one at that.
