Actually, I get the figurative language in your posts, probably moreso than others. I just like to try to drag a discussion out of you to help you contribute once in a while. There's more to your views that you like to let on, and I think if people understood your positions better (yeah, I know, you don't care to help them understand), they might not be so quick to dismiss your opinions even if they disagree with them (yeah, I know, you don't care if they dismiss your opinions or "get" what you're saying). You just might gain more respect than that of a troll (yeah, I know, you don't care about respect).

All Bombs are Made of Chemicals and They Go Boom due to Chemical Reactions.

So All Bombs are Chemical Weapons.

Scene: "Regular" Bomb Blasting Human to Smithereens. Human, still conscious, sees their leg and arm on the ground a few feet away, and sees their guts flopped out of their torso. Bleeding out, feeling "cold" and thinking, Gee I wonder if a "Real" Chemical Weapon would hurt this bad? Hmmm, if I had a choice. Hmmmm. Last breath. Dead.

What about the 100,000 plus killed in Mexico? Many of them stuffed in Vats of Acid(Chemicals). Chemicals and Reactions sent the bullet(s) into their bodies.
Response from Hustlin'YOurRedLineWorldHussein: Nothing. World: Nothing.

'it' there there like 'is' is.

I had that thought about shrapnel weapons just a few days ago. Why is ok to blow off arms and leggs and have your guts splayed out all over the ground. Whether you are a soldier or civilian. But Gas. OH NO they are evil. Dead is dead.

A weapon like that is useless when ones enemy is prepared. In the first use of gas in WW1 yes it killed many who had no defense against it. At the end of the war all soldiers had gas masks and protective gear. WW1 had Phosgene,Chlorine, and mustard gas. Mustard gas was a blistering agent.

Today there are numerous concoctions that can kill you. Think back to the first gulf war. All our soldiers were protected againt all forms of chemical and biological warfare.

During WW2 the nazis didnt use any such weapons because if they had the allies would have used it on them in a massive scale. Im sure we still have a cache of said weapons in stockpile still.

I just dont see the need to do anything in Sryia. Let the Arab league sort it out. And I dont buy that its a security threat nonsense either.
I hope they vote NO .

Why doesn't somebody else try to do something about this?

Because it is good business to have the competition pay for the improvements you get to use for free.

Until some jihadist gets a shell from Assad and sets it off in Brussels, then and only then can the world understand.

This limited strike is BS. Wipe them off the face of the earth and no one, well no government, will ever dare to do it again.

But the perception of doing something is really what they want. They want to believe they stood up for human rights so they can sleep better at night.

P.S. - I can't agree with wiping them off the face of the planet. A regime change would be far better than genocide, but the US shouldn't involve itself in yet another war. In fact, we shouldn't set ourselves up as the world's policemen. All our interference is going to do is embolden those that despise the West for injecting our own view of right and wrong into a situation they believe doesn't involve us.

The UN? Pah, total waste of space and always has been, just a talking shop with no teeth.

It has exactly as many teeth as the world wants it to have. Translation, the world does not want to get involved in other countries internal squabbles.

Perhaps you shouldn't, but after 9/11 the American people rose up and demanded action to make sure that never ever happened again. That was what you the people wanted, so you got it. You can't now pick and choose which crime you deal with.

How does the outside world decide which side in someone elses Civil War are the baddies or the goodies? Is Assads regime a brutal dictatorship, and the rebels are justified in trying to overthrow it. Or are they just a bunch of troublemakers who should be got rid of? By what standards do you judge that?

Just to be clear: I saw it coming like everyone else did, but I was completely against the knee-jerk reaction after 9/11. Make no mistake about it, 9/11 was a terrible thing that should have never happened, and Osama Bin Laden needed to be tried for his crimes against humanity, but there was a better way to approach the situation than what we now know as history. Unfortunately the little rational voices are often unheard in the heat of the moment and the thirst for blood and vengeance.

After 911 It was stated we would go after who did it. Turns out Bin-Laden was in Afghanistan. I was for sending troops there to get him. If we had sent the required manpower and sealed of the border to Pakistan and then had the troops to force the Taliban into the anvil, We would have probally gotten him sooner.

I listend to the hearings on Iraq. I thought it was pure BS and saw no reason why we should invade. Just as I listen and read about the new BS reason to attack Syria with missles.

For once Id like the US to not poke a stick in a hornets nest. Screw the middle east. They make there bed let them lie in it for a change. We dont need to nuke them back to the stone age. They seem to be heading that way on there own.

Perhaps a swift pre-emptive precision USA strike, is the answer, we will see in the coming days.

You can't ignore Middle East oil either, it does play a part in world affairs

Best we get cracking with Fracking hence remove the oil factor issue with this
Middle East problem.

Exactly, so maybe it's time that the U.S.A took a backseat & let the U.S.E take over. Wonder how long they'll put up with the antics of the Middle East?

Edit:

Russia & U.S no closer

So will the U.S go it alone?

It has chosen to take on the role of world policeman. I don't feel this position
was chosen on moral grounds but more for political reasons, and highly likely too,
reasons of protecting USA business interests; at home and abroad. Therefore I
don't think there is any outside agency pushing America to get involved, it's
all coming from within.

Thats why we need to not do anything. Who knows who is telling the truth.
And why are we backing future jihadists in the first place. One of the news feeds I read stated that the U.S. also has planes in place for airstikes by bombers.
I also read where Russia is sending anti ship missles and anti air craft missle to Syria. Any bets that the Techs go with them?

I see no good ending to this at all. Obama should shut up and take is politcal lumps. I do see that any body who votes for his hairbrained attack will be soundly voted out of office the next election.

Well it was 00:46 BST and breakfast time for me. That's what a crop of snivel serpents & retirees tend to forget, the transport industry is 24/7. Or was those chemicals delivered between 9 - 5?

As for repairing the white house? Naw, maybe do it again it seems to need it with the muppet occupying it.... :)
