The fox has been asked to look after the henhouse The whole lot in Brussels will wont to go, if just for the free-be.....get a free holiday out of it and loads of expenses too. Then after a fortnight of pretend monitoring write up a report that simply reads, "You need to cordially discuss the sovereignty issue over Gibraltar". Expect feathers to fly....... Taken from Chris's attachment above.... Fabian Picardo is the second politician targeted by Spanish Twitter users. Should have read, "Fabian Picardo is the second politician targeted by "Spanish twits". You only need to spend a few days, as I have this week, on both sides of the strait to realise Spain isn’t just in breach of both the letter and spirit of European law with its current harassment of Gibraltar. It’s also guilty of the most brazen double standards. In short, Spain wants to have its paella, eat it, get someone else to pay for it and thump anyone who argues. LOL....and they splash Brute Aftershave lotion...."On all over"...ooooouch!!! Spain was nominally neutral during World War II, though under General Franco's far-right Nationalist regime it was politically aligned with Nazi Germany. Spain did not actually join the Axis side but it collaborated with the Nazis in many areas. The Spanish intelligence service had a close working relationship with its German opposite number, the Abwehr. Don't forget the other side of the coin...... Comet Line "The line started in Brussels where the men were fed, clothed and given false identity papers, before being hidden in attics or cellars. A network of people then guided them south through occupied France into neutral Spain and home via British-controlled Gibraltar. There were three other main routes. The Pat line (after founder Pat O'Leary) ran from Paris to Toulouse via Limoges and then over the Pyrenees via Esterri d'Aneu to Barcelona. Another Pat line ran from Paris to Dijon, Lyons, Avignon to Marseille, then Nîmes, Perpignan and Barcelona, from where they were transported to Gibraltar. After November 1942 the escape lines became more dangerous, after southern France was occupied by the Germans and the whole of France came under direct Nazi rule. Many members of the Comet line were betrayed". Edit: BTW, the Comet Line inspired the BBC's "Secret Army" series. |

The majority of the Spanish people were actively helping with many losing their lives. |

Then they genuinely deserve credit for it. Which brings us back on topic. This business regarding Gibraltar. Is is really the Spanish people themselves demanding it back or just the "usual" self-effacing political A*******'s? |

Why do you think that Unknown British soldier with the fake D-day plans was dropped off the beach of Spain? The Allies knew it would get back to Germany thats why. [/quote] Old James |

Thinking about this and what I said on another thread, isn't this just a case of the ruling and moneyed classes saying and wanting one thing, when all the time the majority of the people are quite happy the way things are, and get on well together. It reminds me of when I was working in NATO, I got very frustrated with French officaldom, especially when you consider they had half pulled out of NATO at that time. But at the same time the best classes to teach were the ones which were 100% french students. |

Don't we read all theirs and keep a very close eye on them here. I could see that from my window in my parent's house. Looked like a set of massive golf balls on the horizon. Life on earth is the global equivalent of not storing things in the fridge. |

That's because Bletchley Park was reading everyone's signals; including all our If you can spare three minutes have a listen to this..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zrPqH3kArK4 XPA class of signal also known as "Mazielka". With the correct decoder you can read the signal but certainly wont be able to decipher it though...of course as long as you keep to the strict code of practice under the one time pad principle. This communication above was sent utilising HF but most agencies today use satellite...less susceptible to interference and very hard to jam. Satellite communications now favoured by MOSSAD as they have shut down virtually all their HF operations....March 2010 and 90% of their HF operations went dead over night.... ...Kroger... More than likely a Russian amatuer station. Signal transmission too long for any covert op. No nation's intelligence service is that stupid as you can be df'ed within 30 secs or less. |

Close....it's Russian diplomatic traffic sent out from Russia via one of their known transmission sites.
