I can login to my account at seti/boinc with no problem. When I want to add another project, it asks for my username and password. It says they (or one of them) is invalid. when I say lost password, it says that I do not have any account under that e-mail address even though I used it to log into my account seconds before. What am I doing wrong? Don't give up -- The Ark was built by amateurs and the Titanic was built by professionals. |

Every project have its own account. When you add another project and you are sure you have account there: select 'Yes, existing user' If you don't have account at that project: select 'No, new user' (there is not such thing as "account at seti/boinc", if you have account here it is only "account at SETI@home", not at 'BOINC') It is preferable to use the same email address at all projects, password may be different. For more info read: http://boinc.berkeley.edu/wiki/Choosing_and_joining_projects  - ALF - "Find out what you don't do well ..... then don't do it!" :)  |

Do you even read the responses to your queries? I mean, Claggy had answered you at the BOINC forums a full 10 hours before you asked the same thing here again. If you didn't like the answer, sorry about that, but reposting the same query elsewhere won't change the answers all of a sudden. |
