I wish to inform you that our Planet 3 Observation Station that was established on that planet's sole satellite has been abandoned after one hundred stellar orbits. It would appear that our calculations of the orbital frequency of the satellite around its parent planet were incorrect. We now realise that its orbital rate causes it to present one face continuously to the parent planet. We have established a base on an artificial satellite at a suitable orbit above Planet 3. A number of suitably modified observers are now active on the surface of that planet, but are finding it hard to establish meaningful contact with the aquatic life forms thereon. It would now appear that we will have to use a land-based set of observers for our further studies of this most interesting planet and it potentially intelligent life-forms. There is a close one hour of the full version of the video, in youtobe, but it seems that if it is false, the production cost is very high. I have looked at this so called proof what the producers have done is take "very old" tv film and used something like MS paint or simmilar to make their outlines, they claim it is 3 miles long(4.8 kilometers)yet is still to fuzzy to make out clearly, and give it an age in millions of years? As for the production cost an hour or two in a studio/shed does not cost all that much. Old enough to know better(but)still young enough not to care |
