There was not a winner of nothing, because no one correctly guessed or deduced that the winning number was 587. I was planning a long elaboration on the clues that could have led someone to that, but it's now 1 in the morning and I'm too tired. Anyway, counting backwards from what the counter says the last post number was to 587 brings us to Don's complaint about the heat. (Chicago: 47 Friday, 58 Saturday, supposed to be in the 80s by Tuesday.) I'll send him a PM shortly. I suggest that the thread be left open and Don can red-x the last post to ask a mod to lock it when he starts the new one.
