I was pretty much sure where they were intended to be aimed at, but your post followed directly after mine, with no clear recipient. Just needed to make it clear for everyone.

of the chair.

I presume that meant "or" the chair, and presumably the electric one. As of 2013, the only places in the world which still reserve the electric chair as an option for execution are the U.S. states of Alabama, Florida, South Carolina, Kentucky, Tennessee and Virginia.

parents should be responsible for their children and quit coddling them.

I broadly agree.

if a parent protects their child and doesn't report their mental problems to the state and their child kills more then ~6 children in an act of violence,

So 2 or 3 would be OK then?

you pick the number, i'm ok with one before your whole dna chain is eliminated.

then the parents should go to jail for LIFE.

Are you serious?

if the parents report the child, then they are not responsible.

Morally or legally?

legally

since obama care says children can be on the parents insurance up to the age of 26, then let that be the cut off date.

In the UK a person between 14-16 is deemed to have a certain control over their own actions, and the parents bear a part of the responsibility for their childs actions. After 16 and living away from home with permission, there is no parental responsibility, and after 18 the parents have no legal responsibility whatsoever wherever the person lives.

argue all you want

i would even like to go a step further and throw three generations of the family in jail for life, of the chair.

Really? I worry about your grip on reality.

no need. i wouldn't piss on you if you were on fire!

just leave my guns alone...

From what you have said above I think the police should take away any you have immediately, you are clearly not a safe or fit person to have them.

i hope the UN sends you to come get them!

And this was meant to be as ridiculous as taking away guns, as they are the cause! like guns make them do it!

got to love texas. family was all over news saying he should have fired a warning shot.
http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2013/02/20/another-reason-why-its-a-bad-idea-to-break-into-a-texas-home-armed-elderly-man-kills-home-intruder/

I don't know what i would do in the same situation, I probably wouldn't have shot. but if you give a warning you have lost you edge and now your in more danger of being killed.
If someone broke into my house they would have to deal with my dobermans, i probably would have to feed my them for a week!

So, apparently James isn't at work 10:45a Syracuse time (and not hiding posts violating rules).
Hop on I-81. Drive south. Pass Cortland. (You may notice around Cortland a change in the weather. One can be in a blizzard in Syracuse and then enter wonderful springtime weather while passing Cortland. Yes, this can happen in April, such as in 1994.)
Do not cross the PA border.
At Binghamton, turn west onto old NYS Route 17 (I-86 now?). Proceed to Elmira. Do not turn too early, as you probably do not want to end up in Southside.
Take what is probably called the Water Street Exit. Very quickly, you should see St. Joseph's hospital. See if St. Joe's Psych Center is still there. If so, look into its conditions. Educate yourself about mental health issues.
On your return, if you can figure out which big hill the psych center of the Binghamton area is on, you can also check the conditions there and further educate yourself on mental health issues.
None of this will suggest to you that care should be cut.
All of this will suggest you could not read that I said they should have stayed on the mental health topic and that many do not understand mental health issues.
Your response remains one of the most bizarre misreads ever. Nice to see you and Dull patting each others' backs over it.

Then why quote 6?

argue all you want

I wasn't arguing I was putting forward a reasonable response for discussion. Your reply seems to indicate that you have no effective answer.

no need. i wouldn't piss on you if you were on fire!

And I wouldn't want you to thank you very much. From what I can gather from most of your posts, I would be covered in too much secondhand beer.

i hope the UN sends you to come get them!

I certainly hope a swat squad does, and very soon.

I don't know what i would do in the same situation, I probably wouldn't have shot.

To be fair you would not have known this.

The suspect reportedly had a extensive criminal record and had served time in prison. He was previously convicted of theft, possession of a controlled substance and criminal trespassing.

And to end up

i probably would have to feed my them for a week!

sigh ....

As for your directions Thats the long way. Id get off at Cortland and take Route 13.

Here's something to cling to as you hide in the basement waiting for the government to kick in your door...

Come on folks, we simply must learn, knives don't kill people, guns don't kill people, bombs don't kill people, explosions don't kill people, vehicle collisions don't kill people, storms don't kill people, disease doesn't kill people, GOD kills people.

Until we properly control and license god, people will continue to die. All our efforts to create a safer environment are misdirected.

Some would do that, as my Dad did. I haven't had to make the trip in over 20 years, so not remembering Route 13 is forgiveable. Either way, the trip's about 2 hours.
But the focus is on mental health. Something that was in the narrative in December and January, but is not now. It should be.

The problem is not mental health . Nodody wont's to take your guns away . Militay weapons should stay in the military . It's called gun control . Under to 2nd ammendendment you could advocate owning your own nuke but is anybody realy suggesting that is ok

I was going to put up a defence of the 2nd ammendmant but it's obvious America is most respectful or intelligent enough to hold the write to bear arms

Mental health most certainly is an issue.
On the other hand, one might wonder if there is some healthy paranoia about the Second Amendment rights or if it just plain paranoia.
