If the country wants to place its own self interest higher than the duty of greed, then it should do so. I'm not opposed to a bit of nationalism. It gives the man the license to do the right thing. It sounds like you are actually pushing for a change in the laws of the country to dictate a composite of fiduciary interest and national interest where national interest trumps fiduciary interest. I can see your a die hard capitilist where i'm somewhere in the middle not a commy or socialist but not a full on greedy capitalist eather I reackon there should be a middle ground where you can make money but have a responibity to the country not just profit Since it is the country and its laws than mandate a corporation be a greedy bastard, it is called a fiduciary duty to the shareholder, if you change this law, you change what you want. As it stands now if a business has broken the law and done so willingly the business itself is held accountable and as a person. This seperates the owner/owners from the law suit. Personhood needs addressed. To me a person is a person is a person, no matter color or Creed. I don't belong to the old white guy's club as has been said here at this site. So, a business is NOT a person. So, the owner/person is held personally responsible for the law breaking. If so we would see a lot less crime and a lot better business.
