How about a cow pie? (Another post that might be better in the disgusting thread, but work-safe.) David Sitting on my butt while others boldly go, Waiting for a message from a small furry creature from Alpha Centauri. |

How about a cow pie? I know the tag says United States, but those guys sure sounded British to me.... Obviously forgot the mandatory 10-step back-off after ignition. Safety office hears of it, they'll pull his pryo ticket..... Donald Infernal Optimist / Submariner, retired |

Crumbles originated in Britain during the 2nd World War. As there was strict rationing the ingredients needed to create the bases of a normal pie weren’t available. Pie’s would require too much flour, sugar and fat to make the pastry. So people got creative and made a simple mixture of flour, margarine and sugar and used this to make the top of the crumble. The dish is also popular due to its simplicity. Did you know that? |

I would try to picture something different for a crisp and tend to think of it as a British term. http://www.kaiseraluminum.com/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaiser_Aluminum (And if you spell it with the extra i, it redirects to this page.) You'd think a great big corporation like that would know how to spell its product, especially if that word is in its name. And The blackberry bit. And of course, So cheeky...Monty. OR, perhaps a younger Hugh Lorri doing [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hNoS2BU6bbQ] This bit.....
